The Lonely Forest

And there it was a forest like no other

Where the sunlight couldn't be seen

The day's warmth couldn't be felt

Only the night's coldness.

The forest's creatures roaming aimlessly

The fallen leaves rustling carelessly

Trees old like time

Crying because the days when they were young and beautiful were far gone

And the many winters preassured their, now, weak branches.

When the night was coming

Dreadful silence enveloped the entire forest

Its soul blending with the dense fog.

In time, this lonely forest will slowly die, but for now it remains unchanged.
