Story 20- The Victim

This is the tale of a unique girl.

A small girl who used to have the world.

Until their parents died.

That's when their life turned upside down.

After their parents death, they didn't wanna be put up for adoption.

So they ran.

Ran far away.

They learned to live on their own.

But living on your own has its perks.

And it's consequences.

This is the tale of..

The Victim.

"He's gone.. hehe"

She said cheerfully, hiding behind the tree in the forest.

"Who's gone?"

A voice said from behind her as she jumped.

"Hey!" She said sounding frightened and upset.

"Hehe caught you!" Her friend said joyfully as she softly punched them on the shoulder.

"I suck at hide and seek.." She said joyfully as her friend laughed.

"Yeah.. you do.."

Meet Davi and Lumi.

These two are the best of friends.

They're always toghether, they live toghether, hang out toghether, some people even mistake them for lovers.

They've been toghether since lumi met Davi in a garbage yard back when she was 12.

Approximately 1 year after she ran away.

She's 14 now, while Davi is 16.

Theyve had a good life toghether.

Lumi jokingly took the gas mask that David always wore and put it on.

"Hey! Give that back!" Davi said sounding annoyed as he grabbed the mask off Lumis face and put it back onto his face.

"Ugh.. buzzkill.." Lumi said sounding annoyed.

"Why do you even want this gas mask?" Davi asked as lumi pouted.

"It's cool ok.. I'm jealous" Lumi said with a pouty voice as davi laughed.

"Well boo-hoo.. maybe I'll consider giving you this mask in the future.." Davi Said jokingly.

"Yeah right, like you would.."

The two would peacefully walk through the bright, green forest.

They would Chat with each other as they walked, seemingly getting closer to each other.

The two stopped, they sat under a nearby tree.

They were in the middle of chatting.
