Story 7- A Cybernetic Past

(Note, this story does take alot of aspects from the official protogen Lore, but this story sorta changes the lore)

This story is actually quite old.

And it takes place in a planet that isn't our own...

Zenith.

Home of the species known as protogen's.

These kind, lovable creatures weren't as free minded as they are now.

At the time, these creatures were controlled over by the primagenator's, these people would use the protogens to evolve their world and make it better.

But, a select few of the protogen's were not on board with this.

Very rarely, a protogen would receive more DNA in their incubation then planned, and that would lead to the protogen being able to break lose from its control.

This caused the protogen to rebel against the primagenator's.

Even though this may seem like a semi minor issue, there was more to it.

At the time, there was a war going on between the primagenator's and a enemy group that was trying to destroy the primagenator's.

The rebelled protogen would usually join the enemy side and fight with the enemy group, making the enemies stronger.

This was a major problem for the primagenator's.

So, the primagenator's sent a protogen scout group, to try and find a way to stop these rogue protogen's and maybe just end the war.

This is where our story starts, this is not just any usual past, this is..

A Cybernetic Past

Robotic footsteps stomped through the sandy dessert.

The footsteps belonged to a group of three protogen's, all each holding a Sci-fi looking rifle.

Each one was wearing a metal, futuristic armor, the armor all had different colors.

The first armor was colored green.

The second was colored cyan.

And the last was colored red.

The three protogen's were heading to a hidden base that was recently discovered by the primagenator's.

And the group was about to reach the place they were heading to.

The cyan colored protogen looked around the wasteland, seemingly scanning for any sign of the base, the others seemed to be doing the same.

Though suddenly, the red protogen spotted something in their scanning radar, it was a invisible force feild.

"Cyber, Oxe, I have located a invisible force feild, contact the primagenator's to ask for permission to investigate" The Red Protogen said.

The cyan protogen, named cyber, would seemingly call the primagenator's office using their system.

"Hello sir, we ask for permission to investigate a invisible forcefeild tech has located" Cyber asked.

"You have permission" a male voice came from cyber as he seemingly stopped the call.

"Tech, you have permission to proceed with the investigation" Cyber said as tech nodded.
