This isn't a normal story.

It's actually a creepypasta, that was made by gamer at 3/4am and given to me to read to you all.

It does have dark themes in it though, so if you dislike true inkling/octoling death, I'd recommend not reading.

Anyway, let us just get into the creepypasta.

This is the creepypasta of..

It's All Your Fault.

"Woo! I'm home!"

I closed the door of my white colored house excitedly, I then threw my school backpack to the side.

I had just gotten home from school, I was glad to be home, my first day of 8th grade had been true hell.

There was a new annoying kid in our class, some of my friends had moved away and i only had a few friends left,it just sucked.

Though now, I could put that aside.

I hurried to the living room, I saw my Nintendo switch charging in a charger port.

I immediately grabbed ahold of it, I then switched it on, it brought me to the home screen, where all my games were.

And amongst those games, was splatoon 3, a game I've recently got.

I was excited to play it, especially since I wanted to see how the new turf wars worked.

I opened the game, the loading screen appeared.

I waited a few minutes, the game then loaded, showing the splatoon 3 menu screen.

I pressed play, the deep cut transition appeared, being the deep cut lover I was, I stayed a bit to see the splatcast.

Though then I closed out of it, I had already made my inkling so all I had to do now was get to the lobby.

I opened the menu and then fast traveled to the lobby.

Though, apon getting to the lobby, a message appeared infront me, it was like a update message, but it didn't say anything about a update.

"Are you sure you want to be here? The mechanics are quite faulty." The message read, two options appeared, yes or no.

Thinking this was apart of the game, I pressed yes without thinking, the message then disappeared.

I then hurried over to the matchmaking hub, I clicked on a turf war match and waited.

After a minute or so, I got the Match ready notification.

The usual turf war cutscene played, though, instead of the weird soda machine looking devices the squids usually stood on, there was something different.

It was a metal box, that seemingly had a trap door atop it.

Both sides had these weird boxes.

All the players squids in the match seemed confused, they were all looking down at the strange box.

Yet again, thinking this was normal, I ignored the strange metal box's.
