(Note, This story is obviously based off the meme "The Waffle House has found its new host", I just basically made lore to the meme lel)

The sound of rain splattering onto the concrete ground could be heard from all around.

The sound of their feet hitting the wet sidewalk ground echoed through the empty, dark area.

Losing hope that they would ever get out the rain, being in a semi deserted area, they started desperately looking around for cover.

Though, luckily, in the distance, they spot a lone, lite up waffle house.

They've been warned many times before to not enter a waffle house at night, under no circumstances.

But this was a desperate time for them, they rushed into the waffle house, not knowing what they've just put themselves into.

This is the tale of..

The Waffle House

I quickly shoved through the waffle house doors, I was soaking wet.

Once I was inside I paused to catch my breath, I was breathing heavily from sprinting my way here.

After a minute of just catching my breath and staring at the tiled floor, I heard a voice suddenly talk.

"Are you ok there? Seems you got caught in the storm." A female voice asked as I looked besides me, at the bar area, there was a female brown haired waffle house employee.

"..I'm fine.. just.. cold.. and wet.." I replied in a tired voice as i walked over to the lady.

"I see, the storm out there's pretty bad.. here, I'll whip you up a warm drink and a hot meal, what would you like?" The employee asked.

I thought for a moment before awnsering, I already knew the waffle house menu, so I had an idea of what I wanted.

"I'll have the steak and eggs, with some coffee.." I replied in a soft voice, the employee nodded.

"I'll have your order up soon!" The employee said cheerfully as she seemingly walked off and entered the kitchen.

I sat there in silence for a few minutes, not knowing what to do with myself.

I looked around, only then did I realize I was the only customer in the restaurant, it felt deserted.

I wasn't that shocked though, after all it was close to midnight, why would anyone spend their night time at a waffle house?

I then realized how stupid that thought was, considering I was at the waffle house right now-.

"Hello there!"

I jumped, suddenly hearing a voice, it had cut off my thoughts.

I looked besides me, there was a male, purple haired waffle house employee sitting next to me.

"Oh, uh, hello?" I said, sounding slightly confused.

The waffle house employee then suddenly gave me a glass full of water that they were holding, I don't recall them holding it before though.

"Here! While your waiting for your food!" They said cheerfully, I stared at them in confusion but, I took the water anyway.

"Thanks..?-"
