This is the tale of the game that gave me everything.

The game that lead me to meet my amazing friend group.

The game that showed me how to create traumatic viruses.

The game that gave me sadness because of flipping shapes.

The game that somehow got me attached to flipping shapes.

Yes, I am talking about just shapes and beats.

But this just shapes and beats is a bit different.

More..

Real if you say.

And more.. scary.

This is the creepypasta of..

Musical Dispair

"Mom! Mom! You actually got it!?"

A child yelled in excitement, looking into a plastic bag.

"Yes dear, happy early birthday devin!" A female sounding person said as the child, named Devin, hugged the person who was seemingly their mom.

"I love it! Can I play it right now!?" Devin asked in excitement.

"Yes dear! Enjoy your new game!" The mother said cheerfully as devin stopped hugging her and rushed over to the plastic bag.

The mother left the room, Devin grabbed what was inside the bag and took it out.

It was the Nintendo switch version of,

Just shapes and beats.

"Yes! Yes! Yes! Now where's my switch??" Devin mumbled to himself in excitement as he quickly looked around, he saw his cyan Nintendo switch laying on a black couch.

Devin quickly walked over to the couch and grabbed the Nintendo switch, he then rushed out of his living room and ran up some nearby stairs.

He then got up the stairs and opened a room door, leading to his room, he closed the door and layed on his bed.

He turned his switch on, he then opened the cartridge holder.

The second devin opened the cartridge, something quickly felt off about the game.

He picked up the small game card, for a moment he thought he heard something coming from the card, but he discarded it.

He then inserted the card into the Nintendo switch,

After a few seconds, the new game appeared on the screen, but something still felt off about it.

He clicked on the game using his switch, the game opened.

But instead of the usual berserk studios intro, it just skipped to the main title screen, not even showing the opening to the title screen.

Something was obvious wrong with this copy of the game.

Though on the title screen was a charecter he had never seen in the game trailer.

It was a gray hooded figure, their face wasn't seeable.

Thinking it was apart of the game, Devin ignored it and pressed the story button, he then started to play the main story.
