Chapter 2

Simeon grins at me, "So Jade's gone?"

"Your so late," I roll my eyes sarcastically. He laughs,

"Come on babe,"

"I'm nobody's babe," I remind him as I bring my hand up, tugging at his soul.

"Ok, ok, OK! I get it Stacey!" He whimpers. I push my hand to the ground. He clutches his chest.

"Good and you remember it,"

"We got a call from Sennen prison they've got someone they want dealt with instantly,"

"As in my way of dealing with things?" I ask curiously, so words got round...

"Yeah, an african girl called Persephone she's coming over from Benin,"

"Are they like French?"

"I don't know I screwed up my education too Stace,"

"I didn't screw it up I met Jared,"

"Yeah, yeah whatever. Well she's coming over tommorrow,"

"Cool, bye looser," I stalk off. Jared meets me in the shallow corridors of the dark prison. Cobwebs surround us with little cubicles on either side. Let me get one thing straight with you Shelwood prison, not a nice place to be. In a normal prison there's nice, neat beds, a clean uniform, slightly old but still clean. In our prison rooms, the whole room is dark, a tiny lightbulb in the middle. The beds are basically camp beds only with one cover, even though its freezing here. You get used to the tempreature, only if you come here for a prison you don't need to, barely anyone lasts a week. We have strict rules. If you can call them that, some examples:

1) No complaining (immedeate death concequence)

2) 1 minute showers each week (whipping concequence)

3) No escaping (immedeate death concequence)

I barge into Jacob Measly's room.

"What are you doing?" He is chatting to Serina from next door. Another rule I forget to mention:

4) No communication (pain)

He snaps his jaw shut,

"Er hi Stacey,"

"Hi Jacob, can you please explain what rule 4 was when you came in here?"

"Er-"

"I believe you had to learn them by heart, or where you cheating?" I raise my eyebrows in fake disbelief.

"No communication," He remembers,

"Do you remember what the concequence was?"

"Pain,"

"I'm glad you've had this sudden memory wave, I have a slot free at 5pm this evening,"

"I'm sorry,"

"Prepare to die," I hiss.

"It says pain,"

"I know, I'm in a bad mood today......"
