I'm sorry in advance :/

1 Year Later
It was the middle of the afternoon in New Orleans and little Sage Athena was setting up an astral projection spell to see her mommas. Penelope calls and sends letters all the time but it had been months since Sage heard from Josie, and to say the little one missed her momma was an understatement. There was her momma with another woman and her daughter, Josie was holding the little girl and giving a kiss to the other woman. It brought tears to little Sage's face, she's been replaced is all she could think. Sage ran to her mommy's room crying hysterically which worried the hell out of Hope.

"Princess what's wrong?" Hope asked bringing her daughter into her lap, Sage started calming down once in her mother's arms.

"Momma replaced us!" the little one vaguely explained but that only confused Hope.

"What do you-" before Hope could finish her sentence, Sage was showing her mental clips of what she just saw. Hope was heartbroken....again but this time was different, this time it was her daughter who witnessed Josie's infidelity.

"Oh god, I'm sorry you had to see that princess." Hope held Sage in a tight hug as the little one silently cried.

"She doesn't love me anymore." Sage came to conclusion and Hope felt terrible.

"I'm sure she still-"

"No! She found a new family, she left us." the little one insisted, she felt unloved by her own momma.

"It's okay princess, we still have so many other people who care about and love us. And just remember, no matter what I'll always be here." Hope comforted her daughter and it helped a little but all she wanted was all of her moms, together.

"I love you mommy." Sage whispered feeling exhausted.

"I love you too." Hope whispered back before kissing her daughter's head. The auburnette was already planning to confront Josie about her carelessness.

Hope POV
"So you're staying there for an extra year?! You've already missed Sage's 5th birthday and twins 1st, not to mention all the holidays." I pointed out to Josie as her astral projection stood in front of me, I can't believe what I'm hearing right now. This is getting out of hand.

"I'm sorry Andrea but getting this degree will work in our favor when I come back home. I'm working hard right now." she explained but I know she's hiding something, or someone.

"...Whatever." I muttered and she frowned at me.

"What's that supposed to mean?" she asked confused and I rolled my eyes finally being over it.

"It means I know about the other woman and little girl you've been playing house with...Sage showed me." I confessed but all I received was silence, Josie just stood there thinking.

"How was she able to see that?" she finally asked and it just pissed me off more.

"Really?! That's what you're worried about? Not the fact that you've been caught cheating again but this time by our five year old daughter." I scolded but she didn't give me any type of reaction. Is she serious right now?!

"Can you just answer the question?" she sighed and I scoffed.

"Because she misses you! You haven't called or sent letters or astral projected in MONTHS! So Sage took matters into her own hands and astral projected to you, only to see you being a family with someone else. She's hurting right now and she's waiting for you to explain-" I was beyond upset right now and she cut me off.

"She needs space-" Josie tried saying but I cut her off. Like hell she does!

"No! She needs you." I countered feeling like I was arguing with a wall, she just shook her head. Why does this feel like the end?
