Lizzie POV

"It's only been a year Liz." Hope reasoned trying to deflect from the conversation; her, Cleo, Landon, Maya and I are having brunch and I decided to ask if she'll ever take my sister and Penelope back. Like she said, it's been a goddamn year.

"And you don't find that long?" I wondered with an arched eyebrow, my best friend just shrugged with an unbothered smile.

"Considering that we've only been in romantic relationships with each other, no. They're literally the only serious romantic relationship I've ever had, I think we need this time to just coparent and be friends. Besides it's not like I can't still feel them through the bond, we're just taking a much needed break." Hope reasoned sounding the most relaxed I've heard in years. They definitely needed the break.

"Wait what about your relationship with Maya?" Cleo asked with a curious expression, Hope just shook her head at that.

"Penelope pushed that on me as a distraction for her and Josie not being there, yes it worked occasionally but I wouldn't count it as a relationship...no offense M." Hope explained making eye contact with Maya who's sitting across from her.

"None taken honestly. My question is, has all of the relationship been put on pause?" Maya inquired with a mischievous smirk, I playfully rolled my eyes at the werewolf's question.

"What do you mean?" Hope asked with a clueless frown and looked at me but I looked away immediately. I refuse to elaborate, pick somone else.

"Are you still getting your shit rocked every other night by the infidelity duo?" Landon elaborated dramatically and Hope gained a light blush on her cheeks, meanwhile Cleo and I almost choked at Landon's choice of words.

"No. They've barely touched me..." Hope admitted sounding a little frustrated as she combed her hair back with her fingers.

"Do you want them to?" I asked noticing her her demeanor, the table turned quiet waiting for Hope's answer. Ohhh she totally does!

"....No." she answered after a VERY long pause and almost every one at the table started laughing which confused the hell out of Hope.

"Lie again." Cleo playfully dared sensing the same thing I did and we all laughed harder- well Hope didn't. Lying for no reason.

"Guys stopp, we literally haven't done anything in a year-" Hope insisted but I had to interrupt before she went on her inevitable rant.

"When I came over the other day you and them were cuddled up on the couch watching a movie without the kids." I pointed out with raised eyebrows and Hope looked away shyly. Got herrr.

"Coparents hangout without their children all the time-" Hope reasoned in denial but again I wasn't having it.

"Not like that." I countered recalling just how close they were that night and hell if I hadn't dropped the kids off they would be on baby #5. If had known beforehand, I would've let the kids sleep over.

"Uggh, what does that even mean?!" Hope groaned gulping down the rest of her mimosa and sitting back in her chair with a pout.

"All I'm saying is there are certain boundaries being crossed that should never be in a 'platonic' relationship." I explained with a shrug of my shoulders, the table became silent after I said that and everyone else was looking between Hope and I. What did I say?

"....Didn't you two have sex?" Cleo pointed out cautiously and Hope refilled her glass again while I rolled my eyes.

"Multiple times?" Landon added on, Hope and I made eye contact for a solid minute creating a thick silence before we looked away from each other. We don't talk about that for a reason.
