Chapter Nineteen

No One POV
With the Mikaelson-Saltzman-Park family and friends vacation coming to an end, the newly engaged throuple has decided to begin some plans for their spring wedding....

"Will you be my maid of honor?" Hope finally asked causing Lizzie to turn towards her with a huge grin.

"Is that even a question, of course I will!" the blonde exclaimed before pulling her best friend into a bone crushing hug, tears prickling in her eyes.

"Good because I definitely would've kicked your ass if you said no." the auburnette joked before breaking the hug, they continued their walk outside towards the older kids playing in the pool.

"I'd never dream of passing this opportunity up, ahh I get to throw you bachelorette weekend- wait, what's the time stamp for the wedding?" Lizzie asked as the pair sat on the lawn chairs by the pool after taking off their bathing suit coverups, both wearing bikinis knowing their partners weren't around to drool over them.

"Next spring, so we have a little under a year to plan." Hope answered while applying sunscreen to her skin so she wouldn't burn then passing it to Lizzie so she could do the same.

"That's perfect! For more reasons than one..." Lizzie said the last part a little quieter but her best friend could still hear her as clear as the day.

"What do you mean?" the future bride asked with an arched eyebrow, she's noticed some slight changes in her best friend's behavior but has been choosing not to comment on it.

"Well I've been hiding this long enough..." the blonde admitted before resting her hand on her seemingly flat stomach, Hope watched as her best friend and soon-to-be sister in law's hand glew red before revealing a pertruding baby bump causing the auburnette's eyes to widen along with her smile.

"Oh my god! You're pregnant?! I'm going to be an aunt?!" Hope yelled in excitement and sat up in her chair, Lizzie nodded and the auburnette reached her hand out to feel her best friend's baby belly.

"When?- How?- Do your parents know?-Does MG know?!" the Mikaelson continued her rambling, Lizzie grabbed the auburnette's hands causing her words to come to a hault.

"Four months ago; Freya gave me a spell that would help with fertility for vampires; No; Obviously he knows, he's the father!" Lizzie answered every one of Hope's questions with ease then layed back down in her chair.

"This is amazing! Do you need help planning the rest of the baby shower?!" the shorter woman asked before looking over at the pool to make sure all the kids were okay.

"Why would you assume-"

"Oh please Liz we've been best friends for over a decade, you've definitely started planning." Hope teased with a smirk, Lizzie rolled her eyes playfully before waving some water from the pool onto her friend causing Hope to shriek. Sage and Nik heard the sound and jumped out the pool to run over to Hope.

"Hope why are you yelling-"

"Woahh, Auntie Liz your pregnant?! Why didn't I feel your belly when we napped together on the plane?!" Sage asked interrupting her older cousin, Nik's eyes widened when he realized what Sage said and looked at Lizzie's belly.

"Simple cloaking spell munchkin." Lizzie easily explained, Sage's eyes gained a new spark of admiration for her aunt. The little one has always looked up to the blonde.

"You've gotta teach me that!" the young Mikaelson boy pleaded causing his cousins and Lizzie to laugh before he did a cannonball back into the pool.

Although today has been bringing wonderful news, Hope still has other preparations to look into for her wedding. Her next task has has nerves a little more rattled than when she was with Lizzie....
