Rebekah POV
It's been about two weeks since the twins' birthday party. I'm here watching the kids while Freya and Lizzie handle Hope, Penelope and Josie at the lake house we built deep in the bayou. The kids have been taking the separation from their parents, mostly Hope, really hard. Right now I'm watching Sage sit in her dance studio with her knees to her chest as she looks out the window. Poor thing.

"When are they coming back?" she asked breaking the silence and still looking out the window, I sighed not wanting to explain too much. It's too complicated to explain to her right now.

"Soon they just need to learn control, wouldn't want anything bad to happen." I vaguely explained but she shook her head still not making eye contact with me.

"They'd never hurt us." she countered, I looked at her side profile while her eyes danced around the window probably watching a bird or a butterfly. The truth would hurt her too much.

"Maybe not you or your siblings, but no one else is safe until they know how to completely control themselves." I reasoned hoping that would be a good enough explanation for her.

"Are any of them....rippers? Like Jade or Uncle MG?" she asked worriedly finally looking at me and I could see the worry in her eyes.

"It's time for lunch, are you going to actually eat today without giving me any problems?" I asked trying to change the subject but she scoffed and shook her head.

"You're deflecting." she huffed standing up and started walking away so I followed suit.

"Sage-"

"No Aunt Bex, you're hiding something so don't stand here and patronize me!" she yelled looking exactly like Hope with her chest heaving and her eyes filled with frustration. Sometimes I feel she's too smart for her own good...

"Sage." I tried again walking closer to her but she backed away shaking her head.

"No!" she yelled again and closed her eyes causing fire to surround us, once she saw what was happening she stopped the fire and collapsed on her knees. That's the fifth time this week one of them have almost burnt something down.

"What's going on with you little one?" I asked pulling her into me as she partially calmed down from her outburst.

"I just- I want my moms, I haven't seen or heard from them in two weeks! I miss them." she cried into my neck and my heart broke as I held her tighter.

"I know you do and they'll be back soon...I promise." I know I shouldn't have promised such a thing knowing the circumstances but I can't bare to see her like this. I really hope Freya and Lizzie know what they're doing.

Lizzie POV
