"Kameron!" I groaned, hearing someone call my name. The voice was muffled, and I was still partially immersed in my dream, not being fully awake yet, "Kameron!" The voice called again, them shoving and pushing my body as an attempt to bring me to full consciousness.

"Whattt," I mumbled, my eyes fluttering open to the brightness of light bulbs blinding me from the ceiling. I looked to my left, then my right.

Where am I?

I gripped the edge of the bathtub once I realized I was in a restroom, and attempted to stand up. I nearly fell over, a headache pounding into my skull, but a pair of strong arms caught me before I collapsed.

I looked over and saw Axel. His hair was messy, and he wasn't wearing a shirt, only in a pair of gray sweatpants and white socks. I pushed his arms off of me and stepped out of the tub, gripping onto the sink for balance instead.

"What..." I scanned his body, looking at his neck and trailing my eyes all the way down to his waist and back up to his face. His lip looked like it was bruised, "What is going on?" I took this moment to look in the mirror, glancing at my own appearance.

My hair was a mess and I had streaks of mascara all the way down to my jaw. It looked as though I had been crying. My lips hurt too, and there were bruises all over my neck going all the way down underneath my shirt.

Except this wasn't my shirt.

It was Axel's shirt.

I was completely naked, wearing nothing but Axel's shirt.

I gasped, "Why am I wearing your clothes?" I started to panic, looking down at my legs seeing them bare. I brought my hands to my ass, thankfully feeling my underwear still on me. I let out a sigh of relief.

"I don't fucking know," Axel said "We need to get out of here."

"Where even are we?" I tried to recall.

That's right, Brad's party. I was at his party, dancing with Erica and Jada, then I went to get a drink and... That's pretty much all I could think of. Everything after that was blank.

"Let's just go," Axel didn't even look at me once, he just grabbed the rest of our clothes and garments from the bathroom floor and turned around to begin opening the bathroom door. It looked like it was still night time, as all of the lights in the house were off.  He stepped quietly and I tiptoed behind him, cringing every time the wooden floor creaked. Slowly, we snuck out of the house.

The minute we stepped foot outside to the chilly air, the two of us bolted for his car and slammed the doors shut, the only sound in the vehicle being our heavy breaths.

There was a silence between us for a while, before a laugh escaped my lips. To my surprise, Axel laughed too.

I'd never seen him laugh. Not so up close anyway.

It was funny, and so I laughed some more.

"Oh God," I blurted between laughs, clutching my stomach with my hand feeling a grumbling sound escape from my bowels, "I'm gonna-"

"NO DON'T!"

But I had already thrown up, all over the dash board and floor of Axel's car.

"MY CAR!" He whined, but when I looked over at him while wiping the corners of my mouth with the hem of the shirt, he was still smiling. I hid my own smile.

He drove us home, and I think him and I both avoided the question that was lingering in the atmosphere: What exactly happened between us last night?

I didn't want to bring it up, hoping he would do it for me, but he never did. He pulled into my driveway, and I saw my father's car parked outside of the house. A sigh escaped my lips from the sight.
