Just wanna let everyone know, this is a really cute chapter and I loved writing it, but it is sort of filler so you don't necessarily have to read it. However just so you know, if you do skip it, there might be a few content things you miss. So, I'll add those in the A/N at the end if you end up not reading it!

My mom only laughed, hugging her back. James followed soon after and he hugged my mother as well.

"Oh Kameron darling you look even more beautiful every time I see you! And I love this skirt! I never see you wear skirts," She smiled, engulfing me in a hug, and then rushing into the kitchen with my mother to probably gossip about how their week away was.

"Hello hello," James chimed, his brown hair with gray strands falling onto his forehead, glasses slipping down his nose as he hugged me. He ruffled the top of my head like a dog, the way he usually does and I smiled, watching him make his way to the kitchen as well.

And then, of course, were the three boys standing there staring at me. First Aidan, giving me a nod and patting me on the head, the same way his father does to me. Then he nonchalantly walks into the living room, throwing himself on the couch, legs kicked up onto the ottoman. Then Austin approaches me.

"Please interact with this man. He has not shut the fuck up about you to Aidan and me all week and I'm almost annoyed looking at you because of how much I've had to listen to him talk," was all Aidan said before patting me on the back as he walked passed me, joining his brother in front of the TV.

Once Axel came into my view, I felt air get caught in my throat.

It's so weird how that happens, you know? I'm just looking at him now, standing by the closed front door, while everybody else is dispersed throughout other parts of the house. And it's just me and him. His icy, blue, vibrant eyes pierce into mine, and I can read that he wants to step closer me. But he doesn't move, only a smile growing on his face. And of course, if he smiles, I start smiling too.

"Heard you've been talking about me behind my back," I furrowed my eyebrows and tilted my head with sass, crossing my arms around my body.

"How about you make me not talk then?" Was all he said, and he quickly walked towards me.

Without a second thought his face was inches from mine and so I did what I've been dying to, and exactly what I wore this lip gloss for.

Our lips connected, and his hands rose to either sides of my face, cupping my cheeks and my locks of hair getting entangled in his fingers.

I kept my hands at my sides, because I was scared if I touched him I wouldn't want to let go. And so I kissed him back, feeling the warmth of his lips as a familiar swarm of butterflies invaded my lower abdomen. I could do this forever. The undeniable electricity I feel just from his lips on mine made my entire body burn up in an addicting heat.

He parted his lips, about to try and add tongue to this kiss and advance it to a makeout, but I suddenly remembered my mother's words as they popped into my head.

And my body stiffened because I legitimately can not kiss this boy while I'm thinking of my mother.

He definitely felt my change of energy, even though it was the slightest, most subtle change known to man. Still, he pulled his mouth away from mine and looked into my eyes, my face still sitting perfectly in the shape of his hands, as if it was made to be there.

"What?" He whispered softly, a bright blush on his face and his eyes looking crazy with... infatuation.

"Nothing I just... Let's go in," I stood up on my tippy toes and pecked his lips sweetly and very quickly, nodding my head towards the hallway that lead to the dining room.
