"Andrew, it's not that I'm unhappy in our relationship.  It's just..." Chris began.

"Then what is it?" Andrew asked.

Chris shook her head.  "I don't know.  I don't know what made me so upset today.  You're right, I've never been upset with scenes you've filmed before.  There's no reason why I should've been today."

Andrew wrapped his arms around her and kissed the top of her head.  "I think it's because we've been apart for so long.  I don't know if you're feeling the same way, but lately it's been getting harder for me when you leave."

"I know exactly what you mean.  This last time when I left California and you stayed behind, it was the worst I ever felt when we had to part."

The two were silent, just staying in each other's embrace.  "I really ruined tonight for us, didn't I?" Andrew asked.

"No, I did.  You didn't even know why I was mad at you."

"Well, tell you what.  Tomorrow is the last day of filming for Tick Tick Boom.  How about you and I go away for a week or two?  No filming to worry about.  No time in the office for you.  How does that sound?"

Chris had been working without any time off.  Even when she was in California it was for business.  "I do have vacation time.  A vacation sounds like a wonderful idea."

"Then that's what we'll do," he kissed her.  "Now that we've got that settled.  How about we continue where we left off, the way we love to?"

Chris wrapped her arms around him and kissed him.  "I would like that very much."

Andrew woke up the next morning, his arms still around Chris as she continued to sleep.  He didn't want to move from this position, but he had to get to the set for the last day of filming.  Not only that, but he had something else up his sleeve and he couldn't wait.  Carefully, he tried to get out of bed without waking his girlfriend.

"Andrew?" Chris woke up and sat up in bed.

"I'm so sorry, love.  I didn't mean to wake you."  He walked over to the bed and kissed her.

Chris wrapped her arms around him and rested her head against his.  "You were amazing last night," she kissed him.

"No, you were the amazing one," he kissed her again.

"Do you have to go to work so soon?"

"As much as I wish I could stay here with you, I better get going," Andrew said.  "You are coming to the set today, right?"

"Yes.  It'll be later in the day.  I've got some stuff to do today, especially if we're going to be going on vacation."

"Why don't you go back to sleep while I get ready.  And I'll see you at the set," he went over to kiss her.  He waited until he saw Chris fall back asleep before heading off to the shower.

He turned the water on and stepped inside the shower, thinking about how crazy the night before was.  He couldn't believe how he lost sense of everything and was getting rough in the bedroom because of what Chris said.  And even though she told him she didn't mind it, he knew better.

Just wait until later, he smiled at the thought.  He knew Chris had no idea what he had planned for when she came to the set, but it was something on his mind since he started filming the movie.

He stepped out of the shower, got dressed and walked back to the bedroom and saw Chris was still asleep.  He walked over to the dresser and picked up the small box and placed it in his pocket.  He had no idea how he'd been able to hide this from Chris for so long, but after today, the surprise would be known.  With a huge smile on his face, he walked over to Chris and kissed her before leaving to go to work for the day.

"I can't thank you enough for letting me do this after we film today," Andrew said to Lin.

"Andrew, when you told me your plan on how you want to propose to her, I wasn't going to stand in the way.  Does she have any idea?"

"Not a clue.  I just have her thinking about a vacation we'll be going on next week.  But she has no idea that I'm proposing today.  Had to make sure she was asleep before I left so she wouldn't see me leaving with the ring."  He started to laugh.  "I don't know why I'm so nervous.  I mean, it's not like she'll say no.  Right?  I mean...shit.  I didn't think there's a possibility she could say no.  What if she does?"

"Andrew, calm down.  I've seen how the two of you are when you're together and there's no way she's going to say no,"Lin tried to calm him down.

"You're right," Andrew took a deep breath.  "I'm nervous for nothing."

Later that day, Chris arrived at the set just as they were about to wrap up the final scene of the movie.  She stood off to the side, making sure she didn't distract Andrew.

"And that's a wrap," Lin said.  Everyone on set cheered.  Chris rushed onto the set and hugged Andrew.

"Love, you came.  How much did you get to see?"

"Pretty much most of it.  I didn't want you to see me.  I know what happens when you get distracted," she tugged on his suspender.  "How about you stay in that outfit and we go back to your trailer?" She smirked.

"Actually, there's one thing I have to do first," Andrew said.

"Oh.  Ok.  I'll just wait here then." Chris was confused.  Usually when she showed up on set, Andrew couldn't wait for the two of them to go back to his trailer.  She was even more confused when Andrew didn't move to do whatever it was he had to do and instead he got down on one knee.  "Andrew, what are you doing?"

"Chris, I have been waiting for the perfect moment to do this and I couldn't find a more perfect time than now."

"Andrew..." Chris couldn't believe this was happening.
