"Please," Andrew cried, his head against Chris'.  "I'll do anything to make it up to you.  Anything."

Chris shook her head, crying.  "What can you do?  You fucking cheated on me.  How am I supposed to trust you again?"

"I was stupid.  But I love you.  And our baby.  I know right now you don't think that, but I do.  I don't know why I did it.  But I am sorry."

Chris rang her fingers through his hair.  "I don't want to call off the wedding."

"Then don't.  Babe, you're the one I know I was meant to spend the rest of my life with.  I knew it the moment we first laid eyes on each other."

"You mean when you walked into my office by mistake thinking you were at your agent's office?" Chris gave a small smile, remember that day.

"Yes," he closed his eyes, laughing.  "I knew from that moment you were the woman I wanted to marry.  Chris, think back to those days, not the ones when we had problems.  And not back to what I did a year ago.  I was an ass and I'll own up to it."

"Andrew..." she looked down.  "How am I supposed to forget what you did?"

"I know it's not going to be easy, but think of everything we have been through together, especially the good times."

Chris knew she couldn't stay mad at him for long.  They had been together for ten years, more or less, and there good times in their relationship outweighed the bad, even during their breaks.

"I love you so much, Andrew."

"And I love you," he kissed her.  "Please, don't call off the wedding.  I can't wait for us to be married and to be a family," he placed his hand on her stomach.

She shook her head.  Anyone would think she was crazy to give into him, especially after finding out he cheated on her.  But she couldn't stay mad at him and he knew it.

"What is it baby?" Andrew asked.

Chris didn't answer.  Instead, she kissed him, opening her mouth to give him full access.  She moved for him to get on the bed, their lips never breaking apart.  She started to unbutton his shirt, kissing his chest as she undid every button, his breathing getting heavier by the second.  Her hands then made their way inside his pants when she started to stroke him.

"Oh fuck," Andrew closed his eyes.  "Babe," he reached for her hands and stopped her.

"What is it?" Chris looked at him.  She got up and rested her head on her pillow next to his.

"I...I don't know if I can do this," he turned away.

"Babe, considering I'm pregnant, I'm pretty sure you know how to do it," she teased.  When she didn't see Andrew laughing, she knew something was wrong.

"No, I don't mean that.  I mean, what if I can't do it.  You know, be a father."

"Baby, where is this coming from?  For as long as I can remember, you've always said how you couldn't wait to be a father.  And now it's happening."

Andrew shook his head.  "But what if I'm not good at it."  He turned to look at his fiance.  "I mean, am I prepared for this change in my life?"

"Are either of us prepared for it?" Chris asked.  "I'm going to be honest.  I'm scared shitless about the whole thing.  But that's what makes it even better, knowing we're going to go through this together."

"You're not the one who keeps screwing up the relationship," he sighed.  "I mean, of all the times we broke up, even if it was for a short time, not once was it ever you that asked for them.  It was always me because I never knew what I wanted."

"But you always came back and that's what matters," Chris said.

"What kind of example am I going to set for our son or daughter?"

"That you're a human being that has made mistakes in the past?  We all have, Andrew."
