Chris wasn't getting nervous, not because she was waiting for the call from New York.  She had no doubt Jami and Candace were going to be able to get this settled with a plan.  It was Andrew who was making her more nervous than usual.  Now that they knew paparazzi were following them whenever they went out, he kept going outside to make sure no one was camping outside their house.

Andrew walked back in after being outside and quickly closed the door.  Chris jumped up from the couch.  "What's going on?"

"Nothing," Andrew said.  "I mean, I didn't see any photographers outside, so I think we're safe for the time being."

"Good.  Now would you come over here and just sit down?" Chris said.  "You're going back and forth is driving me crazy.

Andrew walked over to the couch.  "I'm just worried.  If they followed us to the doctor's office, what's to say they won't follow us here?"

"You need to calm down.  How would they be able to get on our property in the first place?  You've got security and we're fenced in.  If they want to waste their time waiting outside, then that's their problem."

"I know.  I know.  I shouldn't be worried they could sneak in here, but I am.  What if they manage to come in when I'm not home.  I don't want to take the chance that you and the baby are in danger."

Chris was starting to get annoyed with him.  Here they were, alone at home and neither of them had anything to do.  She was only waiting for a phone call, but she knew how long it would be until his agent was able to get something done.  She may not even get the call today.  And it was only going to be a matter of time before she was too busy with the last second wedding details for them to be alone.  And this kind of nonsense he was pulling was cutting down on their alone time.

"Babe, can we not talk about this anymore?" Chris started to play with his hair.

"Sorry.  Did Jami call you back with what they're going to do?"

"No, she didn't.  And trust me, you'd be the first to know if she did," Chris said.  Then maybe you'll she the fuck up for once, she thought.  "I was thinking, how about we do something to calm you down?"

Andrew looked at his fiance.  "Babe, not now."

"You've got to be kidding me," Chris said.  "The doctor even said it's fine for us to have sex. You heard her!"

"No, it's not that.  It's just," Andrew took a deep breath.  "Nothing."  He got up off the couch.  "I just need some time alone," he said, walking off to the bedroom.

Chris had no idea what was going on with her fiance.  She understood he was upset about the pictures being posted online, but it didn't explain why he didn't even want to be near her.  She wanted nothing more than to follow him and go into the bedroom, but after seeing the way he acted, she knew it was best to leave him alone.

Andrew laid in bed, taking his phone out of his pocket and looking at the text he received while he was outside.  He rubbed his forehead and closed his eyes.  This can't be happening.  She can't be coming back into my life.  Not now.  Not when I've finally got everything back on track with Chris.

He opened his eyes, wishing he had imagined seeing the text in the first place, but there it was right on his screen.

Ally: I saw the pictures posted online.  You know that should be us.  Not you and that bitch.

Ally.  Seeing her name made him sick to his stomach.  She was only supposed to be a one night stand six years ago, but the affair lasted longer than he planned.  He and Chris weren't officially broken up, just on a break.  He was away a long period of time filming Silence and Hackshaw Ridge, he didn't know when he was going to be back and that's when they decided it was best to take a break for the time being.

Andrew thought during the break Chris was going out on dates.  He didn't blame her if she did, but now he knew she was always waiting for him to come back during their breaks.  And it broke his heart that he went off with other girls.

That was how he got involved with Ally in the first place.  He had finished filming the two movies and was still enjoying his life as an unattached man.  He met her at a bar and after one too many drinks, ended up at some hotel room he got for the night.  He told her from the beginning it was only for one night, but why he continued it for months, he didn't know.

Six years.  She'd texted him since then, but he never responded, hoping she would get the message.  She never did.  In her mind, what they had wasn't a fling.  She created a relationship with him in her head and really believed she was his girlfriend.

He never told Chris about her, but this was why he'd gotten nervous when he heard about the pictures being posted online.  Hell, this was why he'd been overprotective since he found out she was pregnant.  Ally was crazy and would stop at nothing to find out who he was engaged to.

And now I've got Chris upset with me, he sighed.  He knew he shouldn't have turned her down just now.  She was going to know something was wrong.  But the text from Ally really got to him and it wasn't the paparazzi he was afraid of showing up at their door.  It was her he was afraid seeing on his property.

He closed his eyes, lying on the bed, wishing this was all a huge nightmare when he heard the bedroom door open.  He sat up and saw Chris.

"If this is about..." he began.

"Look, I know you don't want me near you for whatever reason, but I just wanted to let you know I finally got the call from Jami.  They've hired a PR person for you out here to take care of the stuff that's being leaked online.  We're meeting with her tomorrow."
