"Andrew, what are you doing?" She finally said.

"Something I should've done long before now." Andrew took the small box out of his pocket and opened it, showing a gorgeous ring. "Chris, you are the love of my life. We've been through so much in the ten years we've been together, good and bad. But there's no one I would want to go through those times with than you. Every morning when I wake up with you in my arms, I wonder how I got so lucky to find you. Ever since I first laid eyes on you, I knew you were the one for me. Nothing would make me happier than for you to be my wife. Will you marry me?"

Chris covered her mouth as tears formed in her eyes. She couldn't believe this was happening. The two of them never discussed marriage before. She assumed they were just going to stay the way they were since it had been ten years. She had to take a few moments before she was able to speak.

"Yes, Andrew. Of course, I'll marry you," she was finally able to speak.

Andrew slipped the ring on her finger and stood up, passionately kissing her. "You've just made me the happiest man alive."

Chris wrapped her arms around him and kissed him back. "And you made me the happiest girl in the world."

The two were lost in the moment, they didn't hear the rest of the cast and crew clapping at the newly engaged couple. All that mattered was the two of them right here and right now.

By the time the two of them broke apart from their embrace, everyone was leaving to change and head over to the wrap party. Andrew took Chris' hand as they headed towards his trailer.

"You had no idea about this surprise did you?" Andrew asked when they walked inside his trailer.

"Not a clue," Chris said, walking over to him. She tugged at his suspenders, pulling him close to her and kissed him.

The kisses grew longer and more passionate when Andrew pulled away. "I should go get changed so we can go to the party."

"Or, we could stay here and celebrate our engagement and be late to the party."

"Wouldn't we be celebrating at the party?" Andrew asked.

"You are just too cute when you don't have a clue what I'm talking about," she giggled. "Let's have our own celebration now before we go to the party," she pulled him over to the couch, lying down and pulling him down on top of her.

That night, Chris and Andrew arrived home after the wrap party, ready to continue their own celebration. Chris was lying in bed, waiting for him, staring at her ring.

"I'm starting to think you love that ring more than me," Andrew joked, walking into the bedroom.

"You know I will never love anything more than you," she smiled. "I guess I still can't believe this happened."

"You really had no idea I was going to propose, did you?" Andrew climbed into bed.

"I have to admit, I didn't think we ever were going to get engaged," she cuddled up against him. "We never did talk about it. How long were you thinking of doing this?"

"I bought that ring back when I was still in California. I just wanted to plan the perfect proposal for you."

"Well, it was perfect," she leaned over and kissed him. "Andrew, I know we said we were going to continue from where we left off in your trailer..." She turned and saw Andrew was sound asleep. She smiled and kissed him, pulling the covers over the two of them.

The next morning, Chris was cooking breakfast while Andrew slept. He was still sound asleep when she woke up and she didn't have the heart to wake him. Yesterday, was a big day for the two of them, but she knew he must've been exhausted after filming this movie for so many months.

"Morning baby," Andrew walked into the kitchen, stood behind Chris, and kissed her neck, wrapping his arms around her.

"You finally woke up," she smiled.

"I don't remember any of our celebration from last night, but I'm guessing you wore me out."

Chris turned around and wrapped her arms around him. "You don't remember anything because we never got to celebrate last night."

"What do you mean?"

"You really have no idea what happened last night," Chris laughed and kissed him. "We were about to continue celebrating when I turned around and found you sound asleep."

"You're kidding me," Andrew closed his eyes. "Guess I did have a little too much to drink during the party, didn't I?"

"I did have to help you walk into the apartment from the subway if that's what you mean," Chris said. "But you're awake now and I've got breakfast cooking."

"How are you so wide awake?" Andrew yawned, sitting down at the table.

"Easy. I didn't drink last night," Chris said, putting breakfast on the table.

"Well, how about I make it up to you today," Andrew leaned in to kiss her.

"As much as I love that idea, I have to go into the office today."

Chris hated that she had to leave, but if she was going to take a vacation to go away with Andrew for two weeks, she had to go take care of some business today. She knew Andrew wasn't going to be happy, especially after they got engaged yesterday.

"What? You have to go in? Do you have to? I was hoping we could do nothing but be together today."

"I know and believe me I would love for that too. But since I'll be going on vacation next week, I'll have to go in today and the next couple of days to take care of business."

Andrew sighed loudly. "Guess we can continue when you get home, then."

"Of course, we can," she kissed him. "And I'm sure you'll find something to do to keep you busy. Do you have any part of our vacation planned, yet?"

"Actually, no I haven't."

"Well, there you go. You can get the vacation all planned," Chris said.

"Don't you think this is something we should do together?"

"I trust you completely. Surprise me with what you have planned," she smiled. "I better finish getting ready and head out. I'll try to get back as soon as I can."
