Out of one ear, Red Bear heard the conversation between the crew helping them. Out of the other he heard Yuki's breathing grow shallow. He had to get her to that ship. With a slight huff, Red Bear picked up his pace, he took up the captain into his arm with Yuki and chucked them over the now closed gap through the open, waiting door of the shuttle.
Yuki hit the ground with a loud thump as metal clanked against metal. Another thump sounded just as her rolling came to a stop. She heard a male groan followed by inaudible mumbling. The large metal door slammed shut as the mumbling continued.
Mambo broke off from the group towards the now eerily ominous woods. Glancing behind him, he hollered to the group for them to follow. Mambo knew what had to be done. He'd faced situations like this on his home planet. His eyes searched any available spots he could to find the one weak spot that is inevitable in every group.
