Sabrina caught up with the group within a few minutes. It usually wouldn't have taken her that long if she didn't have to make sure that her crew was keeping up.
Sypher pressed this button and that as the ship buzzed to life around him. The relief pilot who's job he had commandeered had made his way to the passenger cabin to check on the captain and his fellow passengers. Sypher pressed one last button to put up the shields before setting his hands on the gel-like gravitational ball that was used for steering. He piloted the ship in the direction Sabrina had gone while keeping one hand hovering over the shield activations.

"Ah-ha," Jon Paul exclaimed with relief. "She's awake."
Red Bear and Mambo whipped their heads around to stare at him with surprised looks on their faces.
"How is she?" Mambo asked.
Red Bear concentrated on Yuki's thoughts. "She's doing better now that she's awake." He then brought his attention to the group. "So what's the plan? How are we going to do this?"
"There's some kind ionic field in the air," Jon Paul said. "I felt it earlier but I wasn't sure what it was until now. And I think it's blocking something."
"I felt it too," Red Bear mumbled.
Jon Paul nodded to him once. "Anyway, we can't get low enough into the trees with that there."
Red Bear grunted as he peered at Sabrina. "Well, it looks like we'll have to fight our way through. Think you can distract our attackers while I move the trees." He smiled at her, waiting for an answer. Everyone gave him strange looks, thinking the plan a bit crazy. "Trust me. I just need you to keep them off my back so that I can move the trees."
