3rd Person PoV -
Two years ago, Y/N had found out that she was supposed to have some power. But she still doesn't know anything. Maybe it's healing, maybe something else.
In the past two years, ever since that incident, things were never the same in the Akiko family. The day after she successfully ruined the Yao-chins.
Y/N had used Bunji. She killed two birds with a single arrow. The Yao-chins' killed Bunji, thinking it was him who outed them, and then were later arrested for thier various crimes. Y/N had to make sure that there was no way for the Yao-chins to escape, either by bribing or any other method.
The look of pure annoyance on Y/N's father's face after the news was something Y/N could never forget. He has been even more of a nuisance since then.
Entering Y/N's room, Ara saw her doing push-ups, sweat dripping down her shoulder and exposed abs as she was wearing a sports bra and a pair of leggings.
"Look at you getting all ripped. You're going to scare all the ghosts away, you know." Ara sighed as she sat on her bed.
Stopping, Y/N sat on the floor with an uninterested look. "You really have to be like that early in the morning."
"Boo. I came to tell you that today is the day we go to the beach with the kids and all."
Y/N nodded and stood up. "I'm gonna go take a bath. Make sure you get Oshiko. She has been a little too engrossed in her paintings recently."
Ara nodded and walked out of the room. In the past two years, the four of them, Ara, Oshiko, Hima and Y/N have matured a lot. And been through a lot too.
Akio has been working on his dreams to become a doctor too, the reason why Hima's family denied their relationship. They wanted a businessman as thier son-in-law.
Y/N got into the cold shower and heaved a sigh. The water dripped down her hair and naked body, making her feel at ease.
Today is the day Shin dies. I need to save him. Y/N looked down at her feet, feeling a little overwhelmed.
What if she fails? She cares about them now, she cares about Shinichiro. So the thought of him dying was talking a toll on her.
Wrapping the towel around her body, she got out of the bathroom. A nice bath always helps.
I can do it. This is just a small hurdle that I have to pass.
She got ready for the beach and tried to calm herself down. Two days later, Y/N's grandparents and Ara's parents are coming. And so is her uncle Hiroshi and his wife.
Daisuke, Sora and Yamato have been preparing for days now, shopping for hours and hours. They bought things for everyone. Everyone but Y/N if course.
Y/N tried to come up with whatever reasons they could have to hate her, but couldn't think of any.
She hopped on her bike and started the engine. This was different from the event in the manga, the beach picnic that is. Shinichiro and his friends we're also tagging along, Y/N and her group will be joining them. Toman, however, will stay away because they didn't want the "oldies to interfere".
Y/N joined Ara, Hima, Oshiko, Shinichiro, Wala and Benkei at the beach. Her mother has promised to spend a day with her and the girls tomorrow so she was on cloud nine right now.
