There were different classes of werewolves; you had The Turned... which should be pretty obvious, they were the ones who were turned into werewolves and lately, they were becoming rarer and rarer, mainly because it was difficult to successfully turn someone into a werewolf and if done wrong....... Then you had The Lycans, kinda werewolves but not really stronger, faster, and able to control their transformation in ways that most wolves couldn't; they were even rarer because it took a special bloodline, and from what I understood most of them were scattered, though I did hear about one who was running with some demons... since I didn't know all the facts I wasn't going to speak on it. Then you had The Pure... the ones whose bloodlines could be traced back to the first werewolves in existence; I was one of those lucky few which meant I gave off a much more powerful scent and that meant that what I was currently doing was a lot more dangerous.... Though it couldn't be helped, I watched the LaVine Pack goofing around and joking, that nigga Seren laughing and there was a part of me that wanted to say fuck it, rush over there and rip his throat out for what he tried to do to Tavierre; though despite common lure, werewolves were a lot more difficult to kill that just some silver..... I'll get into that later, my phone was ringing.

"Wassup Dad?" I asked keeping my eyes on Seren and his brothers.

"Where are you? I'm at your place and you're not here... I told you Chi, I'm on a tight schedule and I got some important things that I need to discuss with you." My dad said and I rolled my eyes, don't ask me how he does it but he'll make it down to Florida faster than a any plane and I'm pretty sure that tight schedule just meant that he had a big booty bottom waiting... they could wait a little longer.

"Sorry I got caught up handling some business, I'll be there within fifteen." I said hanging up, with one last look at the LaVine Pack, I smirked as visions of me killing them all danced in my mind, with that glorious thought I turned and ran back to my apartment.....

My dad knew us better than we knew ourselves, so when we decided to move out he made sure to get us our own places that fit our personalities; Uzi got a nice house far away from everything where he could be left alone to his thoughts, Tavi got a penthouse because he was a bougie bottom who liked to get fucked by the massive windows overlooking the city, I got a decent-sized apartment, not too big, but not too small either.... perfect for me. I walked in and found my dad flipping through an old family photo album.... he seemed to be focusing on one old picture of us in Egypt.... with him it always came back to Egypt.

"I told you Chimere... I'm not trying to go to war with the LaVine Pack, no matter how much Seren annoys me.... killing him right now wouldn't be beneficial to us at the moment, not when we have so much going on at the moment." Dad said standing up and placing the book back in its original spot.

"I hear you dad.... but you gotta admit, Tavierre will be better off without Seren. That dude is nothing but trouble, remember when Tavierre got locked up because Seren asked him to take that charge for him? No offense dad but your youngest is an idiot......" I said fixing myself a drink. "But I know you didn't come over here to discuss Tavi, you're worried about what happened at Uziel's place?" I asked and he nodded.

"That symbol.... I can't shake the feeling that I've seen it before, that's one of the downsides of being as old as I am.... things start to blend together and it takes me a while to remember all the places I've been, the people I've met, and the things that's I've seen." He said pacing around. "Which is why I've invited an old friend to look after things while I'm away.... he'll be here in a few, consider him YOUR personal bodyguard. Once he arrives I'll head over and talk to Uziel, you know trying to convince him will be a difficult task...." My dad said and usually, I would've fought tooth and nail, at the very mention of a bodyguard but I trusted my dad and knew if he felt there was another way he'd consider all other options knowing how I felt.
