I sat on the private jet heading home.... home.... how can I describe my home? Well first off it was never in the same place, constantly moving, always shifting, hidden with powerful magic... like super powerful, angelic magic, demonic magic... it's said that the founders of the hidden continent of Zelandia were an angel and a demon. Not exactly sure how true that was but it was the one place on this fucked up planet where magic was common.... before you ask I'm fully human; meaning my parents weren't anything that most people would consider supernatural.... That's not necessarily true though, everyone in Zeltemi had a special gift, though it was different than the elves, dwarves, and other magical creatures that lived in the other countries of Zelandia, there were three human countries Zeltemi, Oleria, and Naraka. To keep things simple they represented balance; the Olerian were direct descendants of the founding angel, Narakans were children of the demon, and the Zeltemi were just regular humans with the biggest, most well-trained army on the continent.... we kept the peace. I don't want y'all thinking that Olerians were all good and Narakans were all bad; my first love was The Prince of Oleria and in private settings he could be extremely bad, using his special talents in ways that they definitely weren't meant for and one of my best friends was a solider from Naraka, coolest dude I've ever met... just a real person. That was a quick history, my brother Germain was the history buff, I was the wild child, and my sister Genova.... I glance over at her as she looked out the window.... she was probably the bravest person I've ever met and her talent, let's just say it was best not to get on her bad side.

"So where is attendant? I was under the impression that you weren't allowed to go anywhere without her glued to your hip?" I asked Genova as the plane began to take off; Genova looked at me with a playful smile on her face and tendrils of lightning danced across my fingers.

"She's back home.... father has her handling some unrest that's going on, I'm glad to see you've been practicing though, the last time you tried using your powers in such a small space it resulted in the pantry being destroyed." Genova said.

"That.... that wasn't because of lack of control.... not exactly." I said trying not to blush; the incident she was referring to happened during one of our royal feasts and this soldier needed help looking for the restroom, somehow we ended up in the pantry and his dick was so good that.... it was a little accident and there wasn't that much damage.

"Please, you probably have the most destructive powers out of the three of us...." Genova said and I wouldn't call element manipulation destructive, it could be but I've been practicing with Blair and I've gotten a lot better; if I was being honest I would give anything to have Genova or Germain's powers. "Destructive.... but you got your powers from mom." Genova said quietly.

"He's gotten better, the training we've been going through has really helped him..." Blair said and Genova laughed. "I'm serious, I would have him put on a demonstration but this plane might not be the best place to test it..... how have things been with your father?" Blair asked.

"He's thrilled... I haven't seen him this excited since......" Genova trailed off and I knew she was referring to when our mom was murdered; though the official story was that it was a 'tragic accident' I felt it in my soul that it was anything but an accident. "He's already planning his coronation, which is weird because he hasn't said a word about the funeral."

"Yeah well that's how dad operates... he's all about his own self-interest, let me take that back.... he also cares about his hoe wife and their son, I'm surprised that he hasn't named Gaige his heir." I said knowing my dad would pull some shyt like that. "But I don't wanna talk about him.... how have you been, Genova?" I asked my little sister who looked a lot like our mom.

"You know how it goes... politics and power, dad wants to solidify his reign early so he's arranged a match for me with some general's son." Genova said and I could tell that really upset her. "He expects me to marry some dude I've never met, never even seen a picture of and I'm supposed to remain quiet.... this isn't the 'old days' where you can just force your daughter to marry someone she doesn't love....." Genova said and the plane began to shake, I looked at Blair who seemed nervous.
