Genre: fluff
Characters: Imauchi Wakasa x reader---
The sky was tainted with an orange hue mixed with pink shades when started doing your homework. Being in your senior year of high school, you did not want to be lazying around and doing everything last minute ( a thing you were used to). Procrastinating was your usual lifestyle, not doing your homework saying that you got it all covered and that you understood the lessons pretty well, only to stress when the exam period was getting near and revise a year's worth of courses in the span of days and ending up completely drained. In the new year, one of your resolutions was to not procrastinate that much and properly work this year. So far you were doing good. You were motivated. You wanted to graduate and go to your dream college. You wanted to get your dream job and have a little good cozy life with your boyfriend.
Though, you were not hundred percent sure you both had the same definition of a 'little good cozy' life. Wakasa was no average high school student. He was a delinquent. He was part of a gang. So ditching school and fighting was his definition of normal. Driving insanely around the city on his motorbike was his definition of a good life. You did not really mind as you knew what you got yourself into when you both started dating. Though sometimes, you had to admit you were quite worried. Seeing him all beaten up, his face covered in blood, sometimes you could not help yourself but think... What if he wouldn't return to you? What if he would fall in a battle? It scared you to hell. You loved Wakasa. And each time he walked away from you, you could not help but fear that it might be the last time you would see him.
You knew it was strong, and sometimes this thought reassured you. But sometimes it didn't. People, especially teenagers, liked to think that they ruled the world, that they were unbeatable, invincible, immortal, and that nothing could ever defeat them. But the reality was different. There was always someone, something stronger than us out there. And you knew that pretty well. This fear of losing someone that was dear to your heart, you knew that very well. It reminded you of horrible memories. Of the day you had found out about the death of your older brother who did not return from a gang fight. This event was why you were reluctant of dating Wakasa at first. But you could not resist your feelings for him. His flirty side, his bored expression that strangely was attractive, his smirk whenever he would tease you, his soft side he would only show to you... How could you resist this?
You sighed, shaking your head trying to get Wakasa out of your head. It was crazy how he would occupy your minds almost every second of every day. Was that obsession? All you knew was that you were madly in love with him. That was a fact.
Knock. Knock.
You snapped out of your mind and turned to her window. Your lips curled as you caught sight of your boyfriend on the fire escaped. He would often do that. After the tragic fate of your brother, your parents had a very bad image of delinquents. They blamed them for his death. So when they found out Wakasa was part of a gang, they were not really keen on seeing you dating him. And even though Wakasa was usually hardly scared by anything or anyone, your parents were a whole other level. So he would often crash by your place, going to your room using the fire escape and your would chat and cuddle for hours without your parents knowing. And when you both would hear them coming to your room, Wakasa would hide under your bed. It wouldn't happen often but it was quite a funny thing to see.
