Life got crazy once the news came out about your pregnancy and your relationship with Tom. To say that everyone was shocked was an understatement. Both of your phones would not stop buzzing. "You know it's going a lot better than I thought it would!" said Jonathan. You gave him a death glare look and a really Jonathan slip out. Tom just giggled and wrapped his arm around your shoulder.
"Yeah everyone is freaking out!" said Lucy. Then you sent her a death glare look.
"Good freaking out not the bad kind!" reassured you Jonathan.
"Okay, I think that enough social media for us today. Love, we should get going if we wanna make those reservations with our folks." Tom said helping you get up. You just nodded your head okay. You were dreading this dinner. Both of your parents had just arrived into town and you nor Tom hadn't told them about the baby or your relationship. You were nervous about what they were going to tell you, but you know that no matter what you had Tom to rely on. You quickly changed out of your movie clothes and into someone more comfortable. Your stomach was starting to stick out now and you were wondering how you would keep working with your baby bump and finish the movie. You were now around 3 months pregnant and pregnancy was not being friendly to you. You were constantly sick and having to leave work early, which was not you.
You arrived at your condo and changed into a baby blue dress while Tom took a shower. To say that you were nervous was an understatement. You were dreading this dinner. It was obvious that both families already knew. It was a miracle that you hadn't gotten a text from your mother telling you what the hell was going on. You knew that she would be disappointed in you, or at least you think that. She has always wanted grandkids but you knew that she wanted the right 'religious' way and would be a little disappointed. But you needed to cheer up, you're dating the man of your dreams and best friend and having a baby with him. A baby that was made out of love and incredible sex.
Tom got out of the shower and started changing, he caught you looking at him and you quickly looked away. Wait why? You guys were dating now so you didn't have to hide your attraction from him anymore. You got up from the bed and started to unbutton his shirt.
"What are you doing love?" he whispered quietly with a smirk. You smirked back.
"Just admiring my handsome boyfriend, oh wait, baby daddy." You said kissing him. He gently turned you around and laid you on the bed.
"You sure you wanna do this? We have 20 mins until we have to leave for dinner, and you know I don't like being late." He said as he kissed your neck.
"I've never been more sure of anything in my entire life," you whispered back in between kisses.
You guys were definitely late for dinner. Tom would not go over the speed limit with you in the car because he said that he'd rather be late to dinner and make an excuse than have you and the baby possibly get injured. You appreciated that but you were hoping that he would take forever to get to the restaurant. You didn't want to go. You've been dreading this for days and weeks. What would his parents think? Your life had done a complete shift. Five months ago you were engaged to the man you thought you were going to spend the rest of your life with. But here you are, three months pregnant, dating your best friend, and going to dinner to face your families and tell them why you had to lie to them.
Tom opened the car door and helped you out of the car. You flatten out your baby blue sundress and looked over at Tom. He decided to change outfits and wore this mustard yellow shirt with some plaid pants that complimented his body very well. You were sure that the paparazzi were already there waiting for you two. You could already picture the headlines, "y/n and Tom are expecting a baby boy", you thought because you had decided to wear blue. You felt yourself getting lightheaded as you held onto Tom's hand. He held the door into the restaurant open for you and as you walked into the restaurant, you could see them. They were talking, you couldn't tell if it was happy or angry talking. You took one last glance at Tom and saw his smiling face. Then it hit you. Darkness.
