It's complicated.

Chapter 17

Tom spent that night in your hotel room with you. You guys finally had slept together sober! That was big step to overcome. You didn't think that the sex could get better but it definitely did. You woke up in his arms in the morning. You tried to make little movement to get up for the bathroom but he still woke up.
"Good morning sunshine," he said with a raspy voice. You smiled and said good morning. You apologized for waking him up and he said he's been up for a while. You liked sleeping in late on your vacations and he was an early bird. He already had breakfast ready for you two in your the little kitchen of the hotel room . You both quickly ate breakfast and got ready to go out. Your flight was tomorrow early in the morning so this was the last day of having a full day of adventuring . You both spent the whole day going to museums and going to old shops in the small village. Later in the day, before dinner, you guys got back to the hotel and decided to pick up something to eat and then for the last time head down to the beach to watch the sunset. This was the last night you guys were gonna spend here.
After finishing dinner, you popped out the 2nd bottle of wine that you had picked out earlier and poured both of you a heavy glass. You had to go back and face reality tomorrow and you were not ready.
"I don't wanna go back," Tom said with you wrapped in his arms, your back to his chest, sitting in between his legs on the beach. You gripped on his forearm a little harder. You didn't want to go back either and he knew that.
"What if we just stayed here? Like think of how much fun it would help," you said getting excited by the thought. You turned to face Tom still sitting in between his legs.
"We could open up a restaurant! Or a store! Or even a dress shop!" You said smiling cheek to cheek. Tom just looked at you and kissed the side of your head and pulled you closer to his arms.
"Love. You know that that's not possible right? We're celebrities. We're actors. We're never gonna be able to leave the public eye and live a normal life again. And trust me if we could do that I would do it in a heart beat, but that's not possible. Maybe in a few years when we're done with acting, but not right now love. We've got a crazy life ahead of us." And with that we silently laid together watching the sunset. We headed back to the hotel and slept in the same room.
We woke up early and boarded our flight together, hand in hand back to reality. What we didn't know was how much drama we had waiting for us at home.
