It's complicated.

Chapter 24

A two weeks had passed since your appointment and you still didn't have your results. You and Tom went back to filming the new Spider-man movie. No one else besides the directors, writers, and stunt doubles knew that you were pregnant. You still didn't want to tell people because you were still early and you obviously didn't know who the baby's dad was. Everyone was being super understanding and kind to you on set and making sure that you weren't doing something that would hurt you or the baby. Your assistant Jonathan and Tom's assignment, Lucy, were having the time of their life planning how you were going to reveal to everyone your pregnancy. They were having way too much fun with that. You and Tom were laying down on your couch in your set room. You both were currently watching a funny video that Z had sent you when you received a phone call. It was your doctor's office phone number. You and Tom both look at it and he tells you to answer it.
"Hello?" you answered.
"Hi is miss y/l/n there?" asked a lady.
"Yeah this is her, are the results in?" you asked eagerly. You hear her chuckle and say yes and she asked if I wanted to come in or hear over the phone. By now you had your phone on speaker and Tom was also hearing.
"Babe, I think you should do it in person because Richard deserves to be there and hear just as much as I do," he tells you. You nod and tell the nurse if you can come in a few hours, she says yes. You call Richard and to your surprise, he answers on the second ring. You tell him you are going in a few hours and that he was welcomed to join, he says yes and then hangs up.
After filming a few more scenes, you and Tom are both done for the day. You head home to your condo and take a quick shower before your appointment. After you got done, you shoot Richard a quick text telling him that you're on your way, he replies back saying okay.
You were shaking the whole time on the car ride. Tom took notice and took it in your hand.
"You know, no matter what the results say, I'm sticking with you. You're not gonna get rid of me that easily y/n/n," he says while grazing your hand. You look over and smile.
"Thank you. You have no idea how much that means to me," you say back and kiss his knuckles.
You guys got to the doctors and were waiting for Richard. Once again he was late. You tried calling him and he didn't pick up, you were starting to get really annoyed with him. After waiting 30 mins he finally showed up.
"Sorry I'm late, I hit traffic," he says while hugging you and kissing your cheek. He shook Tom's hand awkwardly. You didn't say anything and got up to tell the nurse you were ready. She took you guys into a room with ultrasound equipment and told you the doctor would be in shortly. You guys waited awkwardly for 5 mins and he finally walked in with a yellow manila folder. He shook your hand and then he went over to shake Tom's and Richard's.
"Alright are we ready?" he asked. You eagerly shook your head yes.
"Okay, so the father is ..."
