Faith's pov

It's done, we finally redirected the final beam back to the main chamber room and Azrael will be free. I and War watched as he absorbs the beam's power and now, and now he is released from his imprisonment. Then a burst of bright golden light filled the room, his power has returned and then the floor began to change, reviling a stairway leading down.

"Straga awaits," he said with his usual low yet soft tone. I was so happy for him but then The Watcher just had to ruin my good mood.

"Looks like you've finally outlived your usefulness, Azrael."

At first, I didn't have a problem with him, but after everything that we did in order to get here, my patience with Watcher became very thin. Throughout the whole journey, he wasn't very helpful; tormenting War while abusing his power and authority. Just because The Charred Council assigned him to keep an eye on War doesn't mean that he's special or needed to them.

"And how you propose to leave the Tower once Straga has been dealt with?"

"What do you mean brother," I asked.

"Straga and the Tower are one. Even if you manage to defeat him, you'll be trapped without me."

"I see, only you have the power to get us out of the Tower once Straga is killed."

"We need him. And Faith."

"Yes?"

"It's best for you to stay here with The Angel of Death, this is my fight."

As those words left his mouth, I was stunned. I know that this is his battle, but do I really want him to do it alone. I then began to think about both the odds and possibilities if I go with him; Straga is a very large demon and very powerful. Even if I went in to help, I would be killed quickly. And I know better than fighting against an enemy which I have no chance of surviving, staying here with brother Azrael is the best option.

"Very well War, just please come back alive," I say as I watched him going down the stairway. I can hear The Watcher saying something to himself in the background. To him, he thought that no one heard him, however, I did.

"Pray the Horseman doesn't make it back alive."

War's pov

The time has finally come. I can finally battle Straga once again, payback for being made a fool out of me. A weakling! But that's all about to change. Without saying anything or even looking back, I made my down into the depths of The Tower and then I came into a very large chamber, which was filled with strong, demonic power. Then a large and imposing figure appeared before me, This is it.

"Hmmm... You are stronger than Straga remembers. But here you face Straga with no hope of victory or escape. Straga is the mightiest of the Destroyer's CHOSEN!" He says as he talks big about himself while slamming down his weapon on the chamber's stone floor.

"And the last. Your master chose poorly." I say to him as I ready my blade.

"Straga will enjoy killing you again!"

And thus the battle has begun, and since the space in this room was limited I had to make use of the Voidwalker portals. I even noticed that there was a portal on his weapon and when I used it, I appeared on his back that has a bright orange eye. Immediately I know that I wanted to kill Straga, I would have to go for the eye as it appears to be his weak spot.

Finally, after many hits, I managed to weaken him. So much so that I grab onto his face and stabbed his one remaining eye. However just as Straga tossed me off, I used the Viodwalker on him and went through one of the active portals on the floor, thus giving me access to attack and kill him from the inside. After inflicting so much damage on him, I jumped out of his head and watch him fall and the whole room begin to shake. But it wasn't long till The Angel of Death came into the room with Faith by his side.

"You did it War!" She said as she hugged me tightly, which caught me by surprise but gladly returned it. I'm not one for physical or emotional contact, but if it's from Faith, I allow it.

"As I side, Straga and the Tower are one. Now, let's see how useful I can be." Azrael says he used his holy power on the void below us, creating both a well and a portal.

"Into the well! HURRY!"

Without any second thoughts, I grab hold of Faith, gave her a light peck on the head and quickly made our way into the well without saying anything. Our mission is nearly coming to an end, I have gotten my revenge. Now it's the Destroyer's turn to die.
