Faith's pov

"Nex Sacramentum. The Death Oath is complete." Says Uriel as she pulled the Blade out of War's body and threw it to me. I flow towards the Watcher and like a fool, he raised his arms in order to defend himself, thus leaving the Seventh Seal out in the open and with a burst of power she was able to injure him while breaking the Seal.

"Angel bitch! What did you do?!" He yelled at me while fiddling with the broken pieces of the Seal.

"I did my job; as the rightful guardian of the Seventh Seal," I said to him with a low dangerous tone and I noticed a bright light coming from War's body and quickly ran to him

"Welcome back War," I say while holding him close.

"...No... No... NO!!" Yelled the Watcher as he used his power on me, knocking me completely away from War.

"I'm going to pull your guts through your halo!"

"Jokes on you, I've lost mine the minute I spoke against the Hellguard. And besides; you should be worrying about your own guts than mine."

Just when he was about to attack me again with his one remaining arm, War grabbed it while keeping a stone-cold star that just screams murder. The Watcher didn't even feel threatened by this and just laughed it off.

"Keep getting up... I'll just kill you again!" He says and the result of his back talk was met with a powerful strike. I couldn't help but watch in awe as War finally have the upper hand against the Watcher. And I tell that Uriel was the same as she help me back up.

"I was just following orders... like you..." He tries to explain but only to be hit again.

"What are you going to do, fight the Council? Fight EVERYONE?!"

"If that is what it will come down to, then yes; we will fight everyone," I responded to him while getting kicked by War. None of us would be able to tell, but we know that he was starting to fear War

"You'll never get away... you hear me? NEVER! Don't... forget... who holds... the leash..." He says as if he still holds power over War. Yet he as failed to realize that his words one longer affect him and grabbed him by the face.

"I haven't forgotten." He says while killing the Watcher by crushing his head. I immediately ran towards him and hugged him, with the broken Seal in hand.

"You okay Faith." He asked me while holding me close.

"Yes, I'm okay War. I just can not believe that I was the Seventh Seal guardian." I responded while looking down at it. Once I turned my attention back on him, I was suddenly feeling brave, and then I gave a quick peck on his cheek; which seemed to have caught him by surprise.

"That was for earlier," I says with a soft smile and to my surprise, War smiled back. It was faint, but it was there. Then we both turned our attention to Uriel with Hellguard members standing behind her. I quickly let go of him and stepped aside.

"You knew... You both knew what would happen here. What I would do. That's why you spared me."

"No."

"Then why?"

"Because I would not have the last of Heaven's honour die with its Champion." I watched on in silence as they both just stared at each other. Uriel didn't say anything, instead, she jammed her weapon into the ground and kneeled down.

"All debts are repaid. The duty I uphold -- it may call me to raise my sword against you. And if that day comes, I won't hesitate."

War didn't say anything else, instead, he turned around and was making his leave. While I followed behind him. But I think he knows that such a day will eventually come. And when it does; we will be ready for it.

"You both will be hunted! The White City for certain... The Council... and... there will be others!" Uriel called out to us as if she is trying to make us both know and understand the danger that we had both just put ourselves into. My attention on the other hand was on the sky, as I sense something powerful was coming, along with other different presences that I never felt before. One however was very familiar to me.

"You both would wage this war alone?!" she asked us and with a faint smile I gave War the broken piece of the Seal as we both turned our attention back to her."

"No. Not alone." Says War as he pulls me in close while holding the broken Seal up high.

"You're never alone War," I said while hugging him. Then out of the corner of my eye, I noticed three different coloured meteors began to fall from the sky. This was only just the beginning.

The end
