I knew someone with hair of spun gold
Her eyes shone green with a story never told.
Her warm embrace helped me escape
The light spattered freckles spoke a beauty about her face
I knew someone with hair of spun silk
She was full of so much guilt
Twisting and thrashing around at night
I watched as her eyes slowly dimmed; gone of all the light
I knew someone happy as could be
Seeing within her mind made me what to scream
She was someone who had scars
This girl was never far
From wanting to die
But then again neither was I
I new a girl who was losing the fight
It wasn't long before she said goodnight
I knew a girl once who had lost the war
And here I was losing the same one....

Author's Note
Ok. I know the ending kinda sucks but I'm really tired and I just wanted to finish this poem because I've had it in drafts for about a month now. So I'll be back and I'll edit it, but this is what I've got right now. Thanks :p
