Mikey's POV

How do you even thank someone for saving the lives of two of your best friends? It's not like I can buy her flowers and call it even, this is the type of shit you spend your entire life trying to repay. Honestly though that doesn't sound bad.

"I wonder at what age we should get married."

Wow I didn't mean to say that out loud. Yuu is sprawled on the couch looking through a bike magazine "hmmm? But we aren't even dating." She doesn't look up but instead flips the page.

Wait.. we aren't? I think back but I don't think I ever actually asked her. "Huh, I guess I never asked you."

"Yeah" she sits up and stretches. "I'm gonna go see what's taking Emma so long". She lazily walks up the stairs before I hear a door open and shut. There is a few seconds of talking and then I hear two girls squealing.

A smile spreads across my face. That was so cute. Sometimes I forget she's still a teenage girl under all that maturity.

It's been about two weeks since the fight with Valhalla. Baji is out of the hospital, Kazutora is in a juvenile detention center, and well everything else went back to normal.

I know the whole point of the fight was to get Baji back but I put him on an extended vacation from Toman. He will talk to me about why he left when he is ready we both know that. Draken and Takemitchy went to visit Kazutora, I'm not ready for that.

The only thing that's bugging me is how Baji basically has heart eyes every time Yuu walks in the room. He worships the ground she walks on now. Irritating.

Today we are taking Emma out for her birthday. But before we leave I text Mitsuya "How do you ask a girl out?", he's the only one in our group who has ever had a girlfriend.

Mitsuya: You haven't asked Yuu out yet?

Me: I kinda just forgot to hehe.

Mitsuya: You should do it quick, the whole delinquent world is buzzing about her. They even gave her a name. "The Red Viper". I heard the Haitani brothers have been asking around about her trying to figure out her name and what school she goes to.

Me: Whatever 🙄

Mitsuya: Just saying...

Honestly I am worried. The Haitani brothers are no joke, and I don't want them anywhere near Yuu, they give me the creeps

I'll take her on a date tomorrow and ask her then.  We're sitting in a cafe eating sweets when I ask "Hey Yuu, wanna go on a date tomorrow." She goes in for another bite of her cake. "Can't, I'm hanging with Hakkai's sister."

"Yuzuha?? I wanna goooooooo." Emma whines.

"Kay, I'll ask her! We should invite Hina too"
They continue talking but I'm tuning it out.

I really don't feel like waiting anymore. I should have asked her when I gave her the ring, man that would have been a perfect moment.

"Yuu do you wanna sleep over tonight?"

"Huh? Oh sure I just need some clothes"

"You can wear mine!" I answer

"Kay"

I smile to myself. Fucking score, she's sleeping over and wearing my clothes.

I didn't take into account Emma. She begged Yuu to sleep in her room with her. Emma and I fought and finally decided we would all sleep in the living room. Emma and Yuu took the couch and I made a bed on the floor. It only took a few minutes until they were sleeping their breathing steadied out.
