Part 14

Yuu's POV

On my way to the hospital I call Ro, when he picks up I don't even wait for him to say anything I just tell him exactly what happened.

"The Haitani brothers and a big dude attacked me and Mitsuya. Mitsuya was handling the big one, and I was able to handle the brothers until one of them knocked Mitsuya out with a brick after slipping by me. I'm taking him to get checked out real quick. His head seems ok he just might have a concussion."

Mitsuya groans "Gimme the phone" so I stop walking and pass it to him as he climbs off my back. "Mikey?..... Yeah..... Yeah..... It was Mochizuki Kanji, Jugems former captain..... Madarame?.... Ok we will be there.... Ok I'll tell her."

"Mikey wants you to get your uniform and meet him at his house" he says passing me my phone back.

"Alrighty, you should still go get checked out though." worry peppered in my tone.

"Nah can you just bandage me up?" He still looks a little wobbly on his feet though.

"Mmmm ok but don't go passing out on me" I say with a little bit of a teasing tone.

I take Mitsuya to my house and pull out my first aid kit, its gotten pretty scarce since I joined Toman so I need to stock up again. He only winces a few times while I fix him up.

"Hey Mitsuya..." he only looks at me questioningly as he gathers his things.

"Just be careful okay?" I worry about him sometimes, he's the gentlest out of all the Toman boys aside from maybe Takemitchy.

He simply gives me a gentle smile and pats me on the head in response.

After Mitsuya leaves I work quickly, wrapping my chest and slip on my uniform leaving my hair down.

After getting on my bike I sit for a minute. I feel like I haven't gotten even a moment to breath today. The tools splayed around my garage need to be cleaned and put away. All I can do is sigh and start my bike.

When I get to Manjiro's he's waiting for me with Draken, both of them in their uniforms. "Yo" I call out plopping down on the couch next to Ro. They're tense "We weren't the only ones who were jumped, were we?" I guess aloud.

Draken looks at Ro and he nods giving him the all clear to tell me. Draken launches in to how our members are getting beaten down all over the place by former 9th gen Black Dragon members.

"We have to go to war with Tenjiku" Ro says, he's got a serious face.

I chuckle "Baby, what're you so worried for? If the rest of the captains are as weak as those brothers I can take em no problem."

They both start laughing "I should have known you would think the Haitani brothers are weak. Have you ever fought someone who you didn't think was weak?" Draken asks between chuckles.

I think for a second puffing my cheeks out when I exhale "I mean I don't think you and Ro are weak, and all of the Toman captains are strong too, well Takemitchy isn't very good at fighting but he's still strong."

I sit back into the couch "I dunno I guess being weak and being strong aren't really about how good you are at fighting. It's about heart, ya know?"

"Mm says the girl who got her ass whooped by Taiju." Draken laughs

"Shut the hell up Draken, you try taking on a dude that size with this body" I say motioning down my figure.

They both laugh. Well good at least they aren't so serious anymore.

We hold a Toman meeting to inform the rest of the gang about what's happening and then I go back to Manjiro's house with him. I'm pretty much on autopilot at this point and I don't really want him to be alone tonight. I fall asleep to the sounds of his light snoring cuddled up with his blanket next to me.
