Ben was leading the rest of the group were walking through a bamboo forest Ben was taking the lead but Jimmy fallowing behind.
James: Hey you know about the story of the Lion and the mouse.
Jason: Yeah.
James: Good. Just in case we see that ape again.
Jason: You do realize in that story is the mouse and lion become friends when the mouse removes the thorn from the lions paw right?
James: No it's not. The mouse kills the lion with the thorn.
Jason: Who told you that James?
James: My mother.
Jason stands there stunned by what he just heard.
Jason: You know that actually explains a lot.
Ben: So Jacques did you know that thing was out there?
Jacques: No I didn't.
Ben: So you went on this island and you didn't make sure there was any dangerous creatures like that in this island.
Jacques: I thought it was safe. And I was confident the only creatures here would be Grimm.
Ben scoffs hearing this.
Jimmy: So what are we going to do if we see that creature again.
Ben: We do nothing. We leave it alone.
Jimmy: What? Why?
Ben: Because the way I see it. It was just defending it's home. Imagine if you were minding your own business and then someone you don't know came to your house and started mess things up.
Jimmy stayed silent for a moment then spoke,
Jimmy: Well then how come you decided to go in the helicopter.
Ben: Because I don't have a choice. I work with the military so what ever my Sargent tells me to do. I have to do it. And I don't get out of this life until a year. If I had the choice to not participate in this I would. That's why it's important for you to learn and get educated so you won't end up like me.
One of the soldiers was drinking some water when he looks up his eyes widened at what he's seeing then the water bottle he was drinking dropped everyone turned around and were all horrified to see a huge bamboo stick in his mouth they all looked up and they realize it wasn't bamboo it was a leg of a mother long legs spider

It then yanked the leg out and it tried to stab it's leg into the group but they all moved out the way.
James: Guns up!
They lifted there guns and started to fire at the creature then the spider dropped some tendrils on Jason and started to lift him up James tried to grab him but it was to late.
James: I got you!
James aims up but sees that Jason is in the way.
James: I can't get a clear shot!
Jason looks up and sees the spider snapping it's pinchers at him he grabs a knife and starts cutting the tendrils then James looks to the side and sees a leg lift up.
James: Cut the legs! Cut them off!
Then all of soldiers grab there machetes and start slicing at the bamboo trees but they eventually start cutting it's legs making it stumble a bit it tries to stab a soldier with it's leg but the soldier falls back it lifted it's leg up and tried to stab him again but he moves to the side then sliced the leg off. Jason starts getting closer to the creature and Jason begins to cut faster and faster Jimmy then with his quick thinking aims for the tendrils and shoots them making it release Jason. Jason begins to fall to the ground and hit the ground hard they eventually cut all of it's legs and it begins to fall to the ground James grabs Jason and drags him out the way as the spider creature falls to the ground then Ben finish's it off by shooting it in the head multiple times. Ben then looks at Jacques.
Ben: Jacques I hope you know that the deaths of these men are on your hands.
Mini time skip they were walking hoping to find there lost teammates but then he sees Jimmy is a little upset.
Ben: Something wrong Jimmy?
Jimmy: No everything's fine.
Ben: I know your lying Jimmy.
Jimmy: ... I wish I could have saved that guy back there. And I was entirely useless.
Ben: You know you don't give yourself enough credit.
Jimmy: What do you mean?
Ben: You saved Jason's life. When you shot those tendrils. And that is no easy feat. Especially since you could have accidentally killed him if you didn't aim wasn't good. You did fine Jimmy. You might not been able to save that man's life in the bamboo forest. But you were able to save another.
Jimmy looked down a bit but then looked up and continued to walk.
Back with Team RBY and Whitley they were walking through a steep forest and Whitley was trying to walk over stuff but was failing.
Whitley: This is absolutely disgusting.
Yang: Yeah well you better get use to it.
Whitley: Pardon me who do you think your talking to?
Ruby: The better question is why don't you ever shut up?
Whitley: Excuse me.
Ruby: You've done nothing but complain through out this entire day.
Whitley: You can't speak to me that way! I am a Schnee.
Blake: The same company that enslaves Faunus and profits from there suffering yeah we know very well.
Whitley: Oh great the know it all animal can talk.
Yang's hair catch on fire as her eyes turned red.
Yang: Alright that's it!
Yang started to march towards Whitley but Ruby got in the way.
Ruby: Yang wait!
But then to there surprise native people painted like the walls revealed themselves holding there spears up. Everyone started to freak out as they got there weapons ready waiting for the others to make a move then they see another group of people walk in just like the rest team RBY and the soldiers loaded there guns ready for a fight when they heard a voice from a far distance.
Qrow: Whoa whoa whoa take it easy take easy!
Ruby eyes widened seeing her uncle was here.
Ruby: Uncle Qrow?
Qrow: Hey there kiddo.
Ruby: What you doing here?
Qrow: I'll happily explain that once everyone calms down. Ok everyone put your weapons down. I know these people. They won't cause any trouble alright.
The natives then lifted there spears up knowing that there not a threat.
