~Y/n's POV~

"What company? Apollo is out there." I retorted, standing my ground.

Phil began pushing me towards the living room, "Apollo is in the barn and he's graciously letting us know that someone is here. That someone just might be looking for Tommy."

"Who-" I tried to retort.

Knock knock

Phil stared at me, "Hide." Then gently pushed me away. "Techno hurry up!"

The pink haired man walked down the stairs with the most sinister smile I've ever seen, luckily it wasn't directed towards me.

His whole demeanor had changed, he was now clad in netherite armor which only made his appearance more frightening. Mysterious potions hung on his belt, just waiting to be used. His sword sat steady in his scarred hands.

I hurriedly squeezed myself behind one of Techno's many bookshelves. Where I was once again met with fluffy blonde hair.

Tommy's eyes showed distress as tears slid down his cheeks. I pulled him into my arms whispering, "shh, it's okay bud. Everything will be okay."

In reality, I had no idea what was going to happen. I held on to Tommy as we both strained our ears for the next noise.

"Hey Techno! Long time no see?"

My heart stopped. I couldn't be...

I looked to Tommy, he was silently sobbing, his whole body racked, trying his best to not make a noise.

"By any chance... have you seen Tommy?"

"Who?"

Tommy clung to me, fingernails digging into my skin. His blue eyes bore into mine with the most pleading look, "help"

I nodded, making him know I would, without saying a word. I would do anything for the broken boy I held in my arms.

Tommy began to shiver, mostly likely from his nerves being at an absurdly high level.

What happened to you...

It hurts to see the ones you love in pain.

"Nice house." I must've zoned out, because Dream was now IN the house. His voice was worryingly close.

I ran my fingers through Tommy's hair, trying to soothe his nerves. He was too young for all of this.

"Thanks. Why are you actually here?" Techno spoke with a lower voice than normal.

"I know that Tommy's been here." Dream's voice was utterly calm which made him sound much more intimidating.

For some reason I wanted to hug him. I haven't seen him in over a year, I missed him.

He doesn't care about you.

He would kill you at any chance he could.

He's changed.

From the way he spoke, I could tell he changed. Changed for the worst.

Something inside me wanted to peek over the edge of a row of books, but the other told me to cower.

I slowly peaked over books that had something to do with "Art of War." Tommy pulled on my sleeve, refusing me to look over. I brushed him off, and mouthed, "it's fine."

Even with the books obscuring most of my view I was able to him. Survival gear as usual and weapons strapped to his belt and back.

He looked the same... except for the mask. It was cracked, exposing parts of his chin, cheeks and his malicious grin. His bottom lip was trapped under his sharp white canine teeth.
