~3rd Person~
Three men sat in front of the young boy. All looking exhausted, dehydrated and slightly underweight.
They were trapped in the dusty closet for 3 days. Sapnap managed to untie the ropes that scratched his wrists raw and helped the others with their bonds.
The three days were rough. Dream was constantly anxious and rarely slept.
"What happened to you guys?"
Sapnap laughed, "I've never been so excited to see you, Tommy."
Tommy frowned, eyeing Sapnap, "What's that supposed to mean?"
Sapnap stood up with a wince and pulled George to his feet.
They didn't have enough bandages to help with Sapnap's wound due to Dream pretty much dying to blood loss. Leaving Sapnap at risk of an infection, but Sapnap didn't care at this point.
Dream sat still, keeping his body facing away from the entrance.
"Holy- Dream what happened to you?" Tommy laughed at the state that Dream was in. Blood and bandages covering him.
Sapnap and George frowned, Sapnap sent Tommy a firm shake of his head and a glare, silently telling him not to push it.
Tommy reluctantly backed off, "Who locked you guys in here aye?"
"Doesn't matter," Dream spoke, "Now can you turn around so I can get out of here?"
Dream had never felt so vulnerable in front of Tommy. He didn't have his mask and a few days ago; death was on his doorstep. He only hoped the child would respect his privacy.
Which Tommy did surprisingly. George then spoke, "Go find something in the pantry to snack on."
Tommy didn't retort, he was already sprinting up the stairs and towards the kitchen.
George and Sapnap heaved Dream up the stairs and into the infirmary, where they could properly take care of Dream and themselves.
The infirmary was covered in blood.
Dream began to panic, his breath quickened and beads of sweat began to form on his forehead. Dream squirmed in George's and Sapnap's grasps, trying desperately escape the room as if his life depended on it.
George and Sapnap shared a look. They didn't know exactly what happened to him, but it led to the marks and blood that scattered and tainted Dream's skin.
The room that almost killed him.
Blood and bits of Dream's hoodie laid scattered across the once honey colored floor. Dream's mask sat in a pile, crumbled to pieces.
The boys began to struggle keeping Dream held up. Dream was relapsing. Despite his wounds, his focus was to run.
"No! Please no. Let me go! I swear I'll be good, please!" Dream cried.
The boys hearts broke. Their shoulders sagged and released their grip on Dream. To which Dream stumbled to the floor with a thud. His eyes wide and full of panic as he tried to crawl away from the mess that was laid out before them.
Adrenaline filled his veins, masking every pain he had. Dream fumbled with the doorknob, which gave Sapnap and George time to reach him.
"Dream it's okay, shh. Nothing is going to hurt you." George sympathized. This was the most broken either of the boys have seen him.
What Punz did to him was unknown, but it caused physical and mental scarring.
George lured Dream to his room, leaving Sapnap to clean up the infirmary.
They both entered Dream's room, and George sat him down on the edge of the bed. "Everything is going to be okay. I'm going to go get some rubbing alcohol and some bandages. I need to rewrap them, stay here for me okay?"
Dream didn't look up, but he nodded. "Okay, go take a shower. You stink."
George said sarcastically, trying to lift Dream's spirits.
As George left, Dream grabbed a change of clothes and turned the shower on, letting the water heat up. Dream stripped his blood stained clothes and stepped into the scalding hot water.
The water soaked into his cuts, burning him; resulting him hissing in pain. After a few deep breaths...
Dreams mind began to wander.
Where was Y/n?
That thought made him panic, which made him fall further into his thoughts.
Was she hurt?
Did she leave?
Was she safe?
All the thinking caused him to spiral once again. He tugged at his wet, dirty and matted locks. He bit down on his lip with a force to draw blood. He began to shiver and fell into an all-to-familiar panic attack.
Dream hated panic attacks. Thinking about it usually sparked one, but he or Sapnap always caught it before it could get too severe.
Sapnap was the only one who had known about the attacks. Dream was too scared to tell George about them. He was worried about George seeing or treating him differently.
Dream should have let him in. He should of let in Y/n as well. After all, he loved her.
Once he got ahold of himself, he washed and scrubbed off the dirt and dried blood. He turned off the water and dried off, then slipped into the fresh set of clothes.
Showers always felt nice after panic attacks.
Dream sat down on edge of his bed. Water dripping off his hair and soaking into his shirt. It was either water or tears, he couldn't tell.
Dream swallowed down the worry and guilt as the door creaked open. Dream wiped his eyes, getting rid of any trace of tears.
"Hey can I change your bandages?" It was Sapnap. Dream sighed out of relief, he held up his facade for so long, he wasn't quite sure what George would do if he saw him crying.
Dream nodded, keeping his eyes glued to the floor. "You okay?"
Dreams breath hitched in his throat, he didn't know why. He wanted to let it all out, cry until he couldn't. Dream swallowed the lump in his throat and laid down.
While Sapnap was rewrapping the wounds, Dream asked a question, but worried for its answer.
"Where is Y/n?"
Sapnap flinched, regret flashing in his features. "She left."
That wasn't the answer Dream wanted. He let out a shaky breath.
"I'm sorry. I was being selfish. I should have said something to her. I should have risked being stabbed." Sapnap spoke quietly, hiding his wavering tone.
Dream looked into the dark eyes of his best friend, "it's okay, you did the best you could. Thank you."
Sapnap exhaled, some of the guilt lifted, but never in a million years would it all dissipate. He would carry it forever.
Sapnap tied the ends of the bandages and stood up, and lingered in the doorway, "Yell at me if you need anything."
"Thanks"
Dream didn't sleep that night, or for the next year to come.
Oops. I promise I didn't forget to update. Hehe... I hope you all have a wonderful day/night. You guys are amazing, keep it like that. :D bye
