Thandruill's Daughter

Erebor part 1

River rides fast and hard to get to Erebor, see can see it getting closer. As she gets to the front gate and no dwarfs, she walks around and sees steps. She walks up the steps and sees the dwarfs going in, she says ( you made it). They turn around and see her, Thorin walks to her and says ( I'm glad your ok, it was a hard punch) she smiles and says ( never do it again) he nods.

They ask her how she escaped and she lies and says ( I took some weapons and armour and a horse, the guards were asleep), they all walk in and hear a growling sound. She gets her bow and arrow ready, she looks around and whispers ( where is Bilbo). They look at her and Thorin says ( he is down where the gold is, looking for the heart of the mountain. She looks at them and says ( he is with the dragon), they nod, then they hear a roar and they all run down to the gold. She sees the dragon and has more respect for her father, the dragon says ( I can smell dwarf and elf, payback for the elves killing my kind). They look at her and she says ( not me, the elves of Mirkwood), the dragon moves towards them and they run. She says ( Gandalf really owes me one), she shouts her arrow and the dragon laughs. The dwarfs push her into a room and says ( stay there you will be safe), they lock her in and she moans.

Hours later someone unlocks the door, she looks up at Bilbo. He smiles at her and says ( the dragon is gone, it's safe), she stands up and says ( any dwarf touches me again will feel my blade) he nods. They walk to the dwarfs and find them searching for the heart of the mountain, Thorin says ( great you two can search as well). Bilbo looks at her and says ( the gold is affecting him), she nods and they help search. After hours of searching the dwarfs start complaining, Thorin yells at them and Balin looks at you and says ( come with me). He wraps her hands up and says( the dam gold is affecting him like his grandfather), she says ( what can we do, i don't know of any elf medicine that will help). He smiles at her and says ( he needs a shock of some kind), she smiles and says ( would a elf fist work, it would be revenge for me) he laughs.

A few days later River is on the balcony looking at Dale, when she notices elves. She looks closer and thinks ( he wouldn't come for me would he), then she sees a rider coming towards the mountain. She yells ( Thorin you have a guest), he comes running and sees the rider and then the elves. He talks to the rider and River looks at Dale again, she sees her father and thinks ( I'm really in trouble now). She runs down to where Balin is and says ( the elves of Mirkwood are here), he looks shocked and says ( you look panicked why) she sighs and says ( I lied about where i was from, because of what happened between the dwarfs and my king). He looks at her shocked and says ( your from Mirkwood), she nods and says ( I wanted to help, but if you knew you wouldn't let me). He looks at her and smiles, he says ( it's ok, it's only Thorin who hates elves and maybe Dwalin) she smiles.

The next day Thorin orders everyone into their armour, then goes to the balcony. River sees her father and looks down, Balin looks at her and says ( he is your king, maybe you can talk to him). She looks at him and says ( I think he won't listen to me anymore, he will be angry), then they hear Thandruill say ( you have two things of mine, the white gems and my daughter). The dwarfs look at her and Thorin says ( your his daughter), she nods. He pulls her to the front so Thandruill can see her, Thorin says you can have this she-elf back but not the gems. He tries to throw her off the balcony and she screams (Ada), Thandruill looks scared for his daughter. The dwarfs stop him and says ( she helped us, would you really throw her). He looks at her and says ( yes, she is his daughter), he turns around and Bilbo pulls her away, he says climb down this. She kisses his cheek and says ( thank you), she climbs down and runs to her father. Thandruill pulls her on to his Elk and says ( are you ok), she nods but doesn't look at him. She hears Thorin say war, she looks up and shakes her head. Thandruill says ( you need to get to Dale, I want you safe), she nods and gets down from the elk. She walks to the humans and sees a dwarf army, she says (Ada look) he turns and sees them. He orders the army to move, he says (River stay there) she nods.

Gandalf stands with her and says ( I'm sorry I got you into this), she smiles and says ( don't be it was different, but you owe me one) he giggles. They hear the insults directed at Thandruill and she tries to walk forward but Gandalf stops her, then they hear the orcs. She looks and says ( great all we need), the dwarfs get ready to fight the orcs. Gandalf yells to Thandruill ( Thandruill you need to fight), he looks at River and says ( will he fight). She looks at Gandalf and says ( I hope so), then the elves start fighting. She watches as her kin fight, she looks at her father and smiles.

Bard says ( they are attacking the town, we will be cut off), River looks and says ( well then let's go). She runs to Dale with Gandalf next to her, he says ( stay with me) she nods. They get to Dale and she fires arrows at the orcs, she says ( do you have more arrows) they shake their heads. She pulls out her sword and stands next to Gandalf, she says ( if anything happens tell Ada I'm sorry). He looks at her and says ( you can tell him yourself), she smiles and starts fighting. Bard says ( who taught you how to fight), she smirks and says ( my father). She keeps fighting with everything she has, she hears hooves and thinks ( must be Ada).

She walks around Dale and sees bodies of elves she knows, she sees tries not to cry. She hears footsteps behind her and turns round and sees Thandruill, he looks at the bodies shocked. Then he sees River, she runs to him and he holds her. He says ( your ok, your safe now), she looks at him and says ( I'm sorry Ada, I should have listened to you). He holds her tight and says ( it's ok, let's go home), he tells Feren to recall the army. They start walking and Tauriel says ( we have to help the dwarfs), Thandruill looks at her and says ( I have spilled enough of our kin's blood).
