Thandruill's Daughter

Telling Thandruill

River gets back home and runs to her father, Thandruill is on his throne and sees her running to him. He walks down the stairs and says ( what's wrong), she hugs him and cries. He rubs her back to calm her down, she says ( Thorin was following me from Rivendell back here, he wanted me to go with him). He looks at her and says ( did he come to Rivendell), she nods and says ( Elrond told him to leave). He holds her tight and says ( we will sort it), she looks at him and he wipes away her tears. He smiles at her and says ( I'm glad your home), she smiles and says ( I missed you, even Legolas).

River has been back a week and Thandruill is still angry, he doubles the guards at the gates and has more patrols. She has guards with her when she is in the garden, he makes sure Thorin can't take her. She is in her chambers reading when Legolas walks in, she looks up and says ( you look tired). He sits next to her and says ( I am, but it's for a good cause), she smiles and says ( he is still angry) he nods. She sighs and says ( maybe I shouldn't have said anything), he looks at her shocked and says ( you had to tell him, if you didn't Elrond would have) she nods. He says ( he will calm down just give him time, but he isn't angry at you). She smiles and says ( my twin is getting his brains), he rolls his eyes and says ( I'm smarter than you). She laughs at him and says ( I doubt that ), they start arguing as Thandruill walks in. He rolls his eyes and says ( why the shouting), Legolas says ( she thinks she is smarter than me). Thandruill looks and says ( she is), River laughs and dances around. They both laugh as she dances, she looks and says ( what). Thandruill hugs her and says ( I'm glad your happy), she looks up at him and says ( you said I'm smarter than Legolas, I'm more than happy) she dances again.

3 weeks later and River is reading a letter from Lindir, she wipes her eyes and puts the letter down. She walks over to the window and says ( he isn't coming), she walks to her father and says ( Lindir isn't coming, he doesn't know when he can come). He smiles at her and says ( but is he missing you) she nods, she walks up the stairs to his throne and says ( I miss him more Ada). He hugs her and says ( He wrote to me and asked permission to propose to you), she looks at him and says ( you gave it) he nods. She squeals and hugs him, he laughs and says ( he said you are his sunshine). She blushes and says ( he is my starlight), he smiles and kisses her cheek. He says ( my little elf is grown up), she smiles and says ( i will always be your little elf). He nods and she squeals again and says ( he is going to propose), he laughs at her and she says ( I get married before Legolas, I knew I'm better looking). Thandruill laughs hard and says ( you take after me), she looks and says ( I do look like you). She walks down the stairs and says ( Ada since it's mine and bugs birthday soon can we have a feast), he thinks and says ( fine but no getting drunk). She gasps and says ( I was 600 and never had wine before, it's not my fault), he smiles and says ( and when you were a 1000) she smirks and says ( Legolas challenged me).
