Chapter 4: The doctor, The warrior and The bar maid

"Listen Nox I have to go after my brother and whoever he is working for,"said Foxe gently pulling on his coat.

After Nox had he break down Foxe had passed out, his body hadn't been ready for his mind to be back yet and he slept through another couple days. Now he had no time to rest. It was time to find Colt and get some answers whether he had to do it alone or not. Genovia took her usual spot between his legs and curled her tail around his legs.

"I get it Foxe but he almost killed you! I don't know you but I know you're wounded and fucking insane!"yelled Nox,"I can't in good conscience let you go out there! And where are you going Alex!? You're gonna let him do this!?"

"No Nox. Me and Foxe are both going to do this!? Plus we have Genovia she'll protect us no problem"Alex smiled and bent down to pat Genovia.

"You're both fucking nuts!"yelled Nox,"X-Terms is gonna have your position stripped man!"

Foxe shrugged nonchalantly and unwrapped the bandages on his hands. He holsters his guns and with Alex's help the pole he kept behind his back. Foxe walked to the door and looked back at Nox.

"What? What!?,"yelled Nox in frustration,"I'm just a doctor dude!! Oh..OH! HELL NO! IM NOT GOING TO MY DEATH MAN WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!"

"Look 'DOC',"said Foxe sarcastically,"You said it yourself, you can't let me leave in good conscience right? Well I'm leaving and I'm hurt still so either come along or be stuck in your 'office'."

Foxe flung open the door and ran out Alex looked Nox laughed and ran after Foxe and Genovia. Nox looked at Huginn and sighed. Huginn cared at him and flew off out the door.

"Fucking Huginn dammit! What the hell have I been dragged into!?"Nox grabbed his coat and ran after the group as fast as could.

This is the most overly cautious Foxe had ever been but he has to be, he didn't want to unknowingly let Colt know he was still alive. Trailing behind him were Alex and Nox all three hooded and constantly checking their backs while the whole time Nox muttered under his breath.

"I'm a God damn doctor, I shouldn't be here man. I'm gonna die all because of these two insane assholes! And then Huginn flies off after them! God damned bird! X-Terms is gonna have my license!"

Foxe had enough and dragged Nox into an alley,"Listen Nox shut up and stop complaining! I've been hunted for the past month by monsters and I find out it's my brother! There's been attack everywhere and X-Terms has been busy trying to find out why and all we know is someone is creating these things and no one knows why! I'm gonna attempt to find out who he works for and what they're planning you want to be a hero with us or live a normal boring life?!"

"Foxe go easy on him,"whispered Alex putting a hand on Foxes,"let him go and take a deep breath."

Foxe let go and kicked the wall across from Nox. Nox scared to death slid down to the wet ground and stare at Foxe in amazement, he couldn't understand it a second ago he didn't want to be there and then this insane violet eyed man made him feel like he could be bigger and stronger.

Nox was always a kind of shy and introverted young man, always being teased for his weak water majick and only being good at healing. He was expected to be a good doctor by his family. A heavy burden as Thorn Pharma was full of the leading doctors in the world.

Nox took a huge breath and looked at Alex and then at Foxe and stood up,"I want to go. I have to be bigger than I am now I have to make my family proud to have me for once in my life!"

Nox took Foxes hand firmly and stared him in the eyes and nodded strongly. Straightening his coat and lifting his hood back over his head he whistled a gentle tune and Huginn flew to his hand he whispered to her softly and Huginn crowed gently and took off like a bullet.

"Huginn will by our eyes above, she's git amazing sight and she's fast so we will know in second if she spots any one suspicious or any creatures that shouldn't be in Astos."

Nox walked towards the end of the alleyway and stared at the people walking by and the bright beautiful lights of Astos. The city he's lived in for his whole life, finally a chance to save lives and his city.

Nox looked over his shoulder at Alex and Foxe with a smile,"Let's go kick some ass."
