Nox sat in the ruined walls of a now gone building, his magic flowing out from him forming humongous walls of water. Nox closed his eyes and reached out to feel his water, feeling its ebbs and flows the very life it contained.
"NOW FREEZE!"Yelled Nox as he sweated.
Suddenly a massive wave of cold air flew out from Nox's hands and sped towards the water walls freezing the water instantly, Nox smiled proudly at his accomplishment. He needed alot of practice before he could do this with ease. Nox's blue and white eyes flashed with determination and pride.
Alex sat in the dark of the forge she had found, her determined and sweating face lit by the coals of her fire. She had to do this to make her family proud and to have a weapon worthy of saving the world.
She'd been pounding at the metal for hours and stitching it to her leather and chainmail gloves. She was almost finished with it her exhaustion from using her magic was trying to set in but she had to finish. Alex hadn't even noticed that her eyes had finally to glow with the strength of an X-Term.
Foxe on the otherhand had found a basement to do his training in. No light is what he needed for his Shadow Control. Foxe focused intently activating his Shadow Port over and over staying inside the room.
He must get stronger any way possible, even if it meant exhausting his magic. Now the hard part adding his fire. He released his flames as he Ported around the room forming the Fire Skin around himself and appearing to be a constantly teleporting flame. Hours of this and he sat back in the middle of the room and opened his eyes his now violet and crimson eyes lighting up the darkness.
They're training and preparations complete, Foxe and his group made their way to the tower sector 71 heading towards The Apex and their final fights for the world.
"Foxe?"Colts eyes opened from nap.
This insane power all of a sudden, it wasn't just Foxe. He could feel the raging power of his brother's friends as well. How? How had they pulled this strength from seemingly nowhere!?
Lorenzo and Malachi might actually be in for much tougher fight than he had calculated. He didn't think it matter who was matched with who, these fights were going to be extreme in every sense of the word.
Colt smiled,"Everything is falling into place perfectly, come on guys we are getting close."
Foxe kicked down the tower door,"Let's go guys they're waiting for us above! I'm coming Colt!"
On the second floor they stepped into what looked like a flower garden, flowers of all colors hung from the walls and ceiling. Thick vines making the floor soft and sponge like, in the center of the room on a giant flower throne sat they're first obstacle.
"Welcome friends I am Malachi Larkspur!"Malachi stood from his seat and it sank into the floor,"I'm excited to see who I will fight."
"Foxe you two go ahead I'll take this guy!"said Alex pulling on her newly made gauntlets.
"Good luck Alex, Nox let's go."He and Nox ran up the stairs and into a regular room.
"What the hell is going on here Foxe!?"asked Nox.
Foxe smiled and started laughing,"Damn you Colt! It's a fucking Boss Tower!"
Nox looked around,"So this is a rest area!? What kind of nerd bullshit is going on here!?"
"Don't over think it bud let's just keep going."Foxe grabbed Nox's sleeve.
The next floor was disorienting, spikes and towers of metal stick out from every angle, this floor was a death trap waiting to kill. And standing in the middle was the shirtless hulk of a man, he was enormous and frightening.
"So who are you?"asked Nox
The hulk stared down at Nox with hate,"Lorenzo Tavish, I am your end."
"Bye Nox have fun."said Foxe running up the next staircase.
"FOXE YOU ASSHOLE GET BACK HERE!!"Cried Nox.
The next floor was so dark and Foxe already knew it was Colt's floor. Pitch black and the only light was Colt standing in the middle of the room leaning on his katana.
"It's about damn time Foxe."smiled Colt.
"Sorry for making you wait brother,"said Foxe smiling back,"Ready for this?"
"Oh you bet!"laughed Colt.
