The frigid are nipped and burned at Foxe's cheeks as he stood back and watched Nox and Alex fight the ice dragon. He hated to admit it but it was funny watch them slipping and sliding around even though they were in serious danger. They deserved and needed this fight.

"FOXE HELP US!"Yelled Nox slipping onto his backside heavily.

He could only stifle his laughter at Nox and watched Alex as she figured out how to coat herself in an aura of fire. The ice around Alex melted away quickly everywhere she stepped she pulled her gloves on tighter and ran for the dragon.

This one was very different from the lightning one. It was more of a lion ish looking creature. It's mane of hair seemed like icicles but they moved like flowing water, the whiskers and tuft of hair on its tail moving the same way. When it let out its roar it was an echoing thing like it was bouncing off the walls of an icey cave.

Alex shouldn't have a problem with this one except the fact that it moved so quickly and fluidly so her close combat training was almost useless but if Nox could figure out how to control himself and his water magic they'd have a chance.

"OW DAMMIT!"Yelled Nox slipping again and sliding towards Foxe who caught him.

"Alex keep that thing busy!"yelled Foxe

"I'll try but no promises!"

Foxe held down Nox and stared him in the eyes intensely,"Listen Nox I know you're combat skill is low but you need to figure this out or you and Alex are gonna get hurt. I'm not fighting to teach you guys a valuable lesson."

Nox looked back towards Alex trying desperately to keep the dragons attention, she landed very minor huts but thanks to her fire skin she was wearing down its icy scales for a moment before they cooled off and regrew.

"But it's an ice magic what can I do!? I use water!"cried Nox.

"Listen buddy you're smart enough to be a doctor but you're really thick sometimes,"said Foxe,"Remember our X-Terms studies and how elements work you'll figure it out, now go she needs help!"

Nox carefully stood and closed his eyes remember the element table of magic, light against dark, fire against ice, water against earth and so on. But what was Foxe hinting at!? What the hell could he do!?

Like a ton of dragon eggs it him! Water is weak against ice but ice is essentially just frozen water so what if he reversed the effect!? Nox looked around at the entire frozen room. This thing gave him everything he needed, closing his eyes again Nox felt for the water element inside the ice and begged for its help asked it to melt and become fluid again.

Foxe stared in amazement and then smiled at his friends. All they needed was a shove and a life threatening situation like he got in his training. The ice in the room slowly melted and formed into a massive ball in front of Nox which caused the dragon and Alex to stop and stare as well.

"Alex!! Let's boil this lizard!"yelled Nox

He pushed the water towards the dragon, sweat dripping down his face despite the cold. The dragon took continual ice blasts at the ball but the water remained fluid as it absorbed the dragon.

"You've got it Nox!"Alex yelled back at Nox.

Alex threw her hands towards the ball of water and lit her fighter hotter than she's ever had it. Her gloves and shirt sleeves couldn't take the heat and they turned to ash and blew away.

Inside the water the dragon flailed and whipped around still trying to blast away with its ice and failing. It's icy hairs stiffening and falling away from it like Alex's clothes had just done.

"KEEP PUSHING DON'T YOU DARE LET UP!"Yelled Foxe proudly.

Nox pushed harder and sweated more as did Alex as she backed away from the water ball so she didn't burn herself or her clothing. From inside the ball the dragon only screamed in agony as the bubbling and boiling water cooked it faster and faster until it stopped moving and Nox and Alex collapsed in exhaustion.

Foxe walked over and picked up Alex and then laid her next to Nox and gave them both the nasty X-Terms water and cushioned their heads with their bags. He looked at each and gave them thumbs up.

"You guys did good now rest, you fought hard and well,"said Foxe,"You showed it you guys are truly cold as ice!"
