Chapter 17: Nox vs Lorenzo

Nox cowered behind a giant metal blade that extended from the floor to the ceiling. This Lorenzo guy was a giant beast and his metal power was scary as hell, there was no way that Nox could beat this guy with his water and ice.

"Come out you tiny weakling!"Lorenzo's voice boomed around the room.

"I'm good you win I quit! I'd rather not die!"yelled Nox.

Damn that Foxe for leaving him with this guy, then again he didn't want to fight Colt or that Malachi guy something about him just felt off. But now he was stuck with the giant that probably didn't even need magic! Why him!?

"Quitting isn't allowed here. Guess I'll just have to force you out, Full Metal Body!"boomed Lorenzo.

Suddenly the pillar behind Nox was shaking and cracking in second it shattered and there on the other side was Lorenzo his whole body shining and metallic. Nox threw a ball of water at Lorenzo's face to distract him and ran for more cover.

How was he gonna do this? Water can rust the metal and his ice could help smash it into pieces. But that would take hours if not days. If only Alex was here with her fire he'd stand a chance. But she was busy fighting and Foxe just ran off like the asshole he is.

The whole room shook and rumbled as Lorenzo smashed up the room. He had to do something, try something. If it took hours for his water to rust the metal maybe his ice could do something? But what?

Then it struck Nox! How could he be so stupid and scared to not think of this! Lorenzo continued to smash and break the metal spikes and towers. Nox willed his water out all over the floor washing over all the shattered metal. Now he might have a chance, but the smashing had stopped.

"Really? What do you plan on doing with your lame magic?!"Lorenzo laughed.

"Yeah laugh it up while you can big boy!"yelled Nox,"This fight isn't over yet!"

Nox stepped out of hiding with a big smile on his face. Using his new found strength Nox forced his water up to ceiling in pillars taking the pieces of metal big and small with it. Time to win this damn thing, Nox's pillars started to spin into bladed water tornados. He moved them all towards Lorenzo who dodged them over and over.

All he had to do was wear out this guy's stamina so he could just swallow him up with his water. It seemed to be working but this guy was so agile for being so damn big it made no actual sense, it shouldn't be possible at all. Nox dropped one of the tornadoes soaking the floor and the freezing it.

Lorenzo not paying attention to his footing dodged right onto it and lost his footing falling into the blades that stuck out of the ice, they couldn't pierce his metallic hide but the did leave deep scratches where they struck which gave Nox an even better idea.

While Lorenzo struggled to stand up on the ice Nox sent the tornados at Lorenzo swallowing him and forming one massive death swirl. He forced it faster and faster as Lorenzo was force up into the water, the shards slicing all over Lorenzo over and over again cutting divets into him all over.

Nox dispersed his water and watched as Lorenzo hit the floor hard, he drew his daggers coating the blades in water and the freezing it there. He walked slowly towards Lorenzo's still body.

"You think you won? You give me a bath and a tickle and think thats it?"coughed Lorenzo.

"No I don't think it's over,"Nox stopped right next to Lorenzo,"But it's going yo be in a second."

Nox raised his ice daggers and slammed them down into Lorenzo's chest, the ice shattered on impact and his daggers sunk into Lorenzo who cried out in pain. Nox smiled and couldn't help but feel excited about this win but also a bit guilty at hurting someone.

"Sorry Lorenzo but you've lost!"said Nox,"Now Freeze!"

Sending out his power through his daggers and over the water on Lorenzo's body. All the water in his cuts froze instantly into spikes and his freezing at the same time, Lorenzo exploded into crimson and crystal clear blue spikes. Finally Nox was done with this fight.

"Nox you won!"came Alex's voice.

She came running up to him just as he collapsed from exhastion,"Yeah but I'm beat you'll have to help me to the rest point."

"No problem Nox,"Alex helped him up and slung his arm over her shoulder,"Let's go Foxe will be waiting."
