Chapter 11: Reunion or Ruin?

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN HE'S ALIVE!?"Yelled Colt grabbing Malachi's jacket,"I KILLED HIM I WATCHED HIM DIE!"

Malachi shook his head,"No Colt you watched him bleed until he passed out and then you went home. If Axel says he's alive then he's alive, just admit you messed up. Could you put me down now,please?"

Malachi gently placed a hand on Colts and he let go. Colt backed against the wall and covered his face. Foxe, his little brother, was still alive? He couldn't believe how happy and pissed off this made him. He had to find Foxe, he had to correct this mistake one way or another.

"I'm leaving I'll catch up with you guys later."

Colt stormed out of the tower into the night ready to find his brother. It wasn't a blood lust this time. He didn't understand but he knew Foxe would try to find him one place at a time. Starting with the closest sector.

Foxe woke to crashing and the whole tower shaking. Nox and Alex were already awake and Genovia was cowering behind Alex. Another crash and smoke rising from the staircase. Foxe knew this wasn't a monster, it felt different somehow.

Bursting out of the stairway was Colt! How did he know where they were? Better yet how'd he know that Foxe was alive? This was bad for everyone not only had Colt found them but he'd kill everyone!

"Foxe! You little bastard!"yelled Colt running at Foxe.

Foxe readied himself for a fight but that's not at all what Colt had planned. He came crashing into Foxe and held him tightly and started crying into Foxe's shoulder. Everyone just stared at Colt in silence, Foxe couldnt believe it he hadn't hugged his brother in years. In fact he couldn't remember how many years.

"Colt...what are you doing?! You tried to kill me weeks ago and now you're snotting all over me!?"asked Foxe in disbelief.

"I'm so sorry Foxe I've had some time to think about things. And I hated you for no reason. I understand that you always wanted to be hero and the only way to get to that was to kill our family," cried Colt,"I just wish it hadn't been so I'm so sorry I tried to kill you little man. You're my brother and I do love you."

Nox and Alex just stood and stared confused and scared beyond words. Foxe just wrapped his arms his brother and hugged him back. He missed Colt, the Colt he knew from his childhood and this wasn't that Colt but he still had his brother back even if for a moment.

But he wasn't sure if this was a reunion or if The Apex was just using Colt to track down Foxe and anyone he was with. It worried him but Foxe was sure that they'd get an answer soon.
