CHUZELLE

I woke up my head aching. Parang binibiyak ang aking ulo nang ako ay magising. I slowly open my eyes and when I fully did, I saw a different room. Nakataas ang aking paningin kaya naman nang ibaba ko iyon para tignan kung nasaan nga ba ako.

Doon ko napansin na nakatali ako sa isang upuan sa gitna ng isang silid kung saan maraming nakakalat na kagamitan. A lots of vandalizing and stuffs that suits well at the vibe of the scene. Its like a kidnapping scene wherein someone will enter the place and threaten me on killing this human being.

Huminga ako nang malalim at luminga linga para maghanap ng kung ano mang makikita. But then, I stopped when two people entered the room. May suot silang mga maskara at ngayon na may ilaw na, nakikita ko na ang kabuuan ng kanilang katawan.

The man have the muscles on the right place while the woman also have the curves on the right place. Kaano ano ba nila ang isa't isa? Are they in a relationship? Ano to, couple goals? Or are they friends or family or what?

Nagtaas ako ng tingin para pantayan ang kanilang mga titig. They're staring at me with those green and blue eyes. It's mesmerizing and very nice to stare at.

"Saan ba ito?" Pagbasag ko sa katahimikan ng wala man lang silang balak na magsalita. Kinuha nila ang dalawang upuan atsaka sila umupo doon sa harap ko. And I thought the both won't remove their mask but as soon as they filled the chair, they both removed their masks. Now, their faces are all on full show.

"Twins?" Anas ko nang makita na ang mukha nila. And yeah, they have the same faces so twins. Tumaas ang aking kilay. It's actually my first time meeting twins in real life. I mean yes, I know one woman can hold two or four babies but it is actually mesmerizing to see two person with the same face.

Ngumiti ako habang nakamasid sa kanila.

"Why the hell are you looking at us like that?" Biglang pagtanong sa akin ng babae na nagsalubong pa ang kilay. She has this grumpy face and she is grumpy. Nag angat naman ako ng tingin atsaka ko iyon sinagot.

"Bakit? Hindi ba pwedeng tignan ka?" Tanong ko pabalik dito. Akala mo ha. Hindi ako unaatras sa kahit anong hamon and I won't really hold back.

Umirap ang babae atsaka mas nagsalubong pa ang kilay. She looked away and heaved a lot of deep sighs as if she is against at what she is seeing now.

"Galaez, right?" Bumaling ang aking paningin at atensiyon sa lalaki na sinusuway pa ang babae kanina na todo irap sa akin. "Yes, bakit?" I said.

"You're known as the great thief at the street. Tama ba?" Alam na naman pala nila, bakit pa magtatanong? But because I am quite on the mood, I answered it.

"Yes. I am Chuzelle Galaez, the so called thief at the streets." At first, when they named me that, I got insulted for thinking that I am that bad but when I grew up, I found out that it's actually a compliment. I mean, who even had a lots of cheating issues and I am still alive and free. I only choose high stealing missions if they give me money but then, I kill them afterwards.

"You're very fast and skillful, they said." They said lang? Hindi ba nila nakita ang ginawa ko kanina doon? I scoffed and blew the tip of my hair, who tried to cover my eyes.

I stare at him and answered it.

"Yes. I am." Pagkasabi ko noon, sabay ko ding inilagay ang aking kamay sa aking harapan. The man didn't notice at ir first but then when realization hit him, he quickly remove himself from the chair and pulled out a gun but before he could even point the gun at me, the cold tip of the gun I pulled faster than him hits his forehead.

"Don't be so fast." Ani ko pa dito. Nanlaki ang mata ng babae nang nakita kung gaano ako kabilis at kagaling. Hmm. You should praise me with that.

"Put the fucking gun down or I will shoot you." The woman from the side pointed a gun at me and threatened on killing me. May kaya nga ba sila? The woman is even trembling and can't hold the gun right and she has the guts to threaten me? Ridiculous as fuck.
