CHUZELLE

"Shit." I cussed loudly as I thought I could hold onto the ground but I was wrong. The moment my hands lost the chance to hold onto the ground, it was like a big doom for me. Parang hinila ako nito pababa sa ilalim ng lupa habang pinagmasdan ko na unti unting nawawala ang ilaw. I closed my eyes and was ready to accept that I am going to die in a very not so nice way

But then, in the middle of me thinking on dying in a very unfortunate way. I heard a whirring sound that made me open my eyes. I roamed my eyes around as the surroundings slowed, and then I saw a man riding a flying scooter and just went to my direction.

And it did not take long and the hands of this man grabbed me and stopped me from falling. Napaupo ako sa dulo ng scooter niya habang pinagmamasdan itong ekspertong umiwas sa mga nahuhulog na mga parte ng malalaking bato na pumupunta sa aming daan.

He was very expert to move away and to move from one place to another and the cycle continued. But then, after a minute, this guy just got me out from the death and life situation and I was actually relieved that I got out. Napahinga ako nang malalim habang pinagmamasdan ang nasa ibaba na unti unting nawawala sa aking paningin.

"Shit." Mahinang mura ko sa aking isipan habang hindi pa din nawawala ang sitwasyon ko kanina. I thought I am never gonna make it. I thought that would be my end and will never be able to see the light again but then, I was saved and felt relieved now that we're starting to get away from the place.

And the moment the scooter went at the near side, the ground stopped on trembling and just stopped like it was told to. Unti unti itong bumalik sa kung ano ang nakita ko kanina. Slowly and it's trembling in a soft way.

"Shit. What the hell is this place." I mumbled to myself but it seems like I am not the one who heard it. Nakita ko kasing bumaling sa akin ang atensiyon ng lalaking nagligtas sa akin kapagkuwan ay dahan dahang tinanggal ang suot nitong mask. And when he finally revealed himself, it was someone whom I don't know.

He has a very sharp eyes and a colored dark brown. Kitang kita ko kung paano gumalaw ang gitna ng mata nito. I saw how it flickered and just dilated. Umiwas siya ng tingin sa akin kapagkuwan ay huminga nang malalim.

"You don't know what you were doing back there." Of course. My fucking soul almost left my body the moment I realized I fucked up. Akala ko noon isa na naman ito sa haka haka nila kaya pumasok ako. I've never felt so weak and alive before. This place is not as easy as I thought it would be.

Kaya pala may maraming gusto sa Orb dahil hindi din madali ang nakawin ito. It's hell.

"What the hell was that? Totoo talaga ang lugar na ito? I thought it was just a story for kids, again." Yes. Hell, I did not expect this to be true. I did not expect for this to happen. Kung wala itong taong ito malapit sa akin, patay na sana ako ngayon and I am grateful he came.

"What are you doing here by the way? Did you just came here by any chance?" Lumingon siya sa akin kapagkuwan ay bumaling na naman doon sa lupa. He sighed and answered me. "Nakatingin ako sayo. I am watching you."  Watching me? What is he in here? A guard?

"Don't ask more. Doon ka na magtanong sa kuta ko." Sabay ng sabi noon ng lalaki, pinaandar niya ang lumilipad niyang scooter kapagkuwan ay pinaharurot ito papalayo doon sa lugar kung saan ako muntik nang mamatay.

And then, this arrived on a not so long ride. Malapit lang ang sinasabi niyang kuta. He just mentioned earlier that he is watching me. So maybe, he is some sort of guard guy. Ang titingin kung anong nangyayari doon. He wakes up and will do something if someone is on trouble in there. Mukhang yun ang trabaho niya but it cannot be also.
