𝐑𝐞𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 - 𝐓𝐰𝐨-𝐁𝐢𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐱 𝐟𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞!𝐎𝐂

𝕔𝕙𝕒𝕡𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝟚

It had only been about a five-minute walk to the gas station Johnny was talking about. There were two gas pumps outside and a small convenience store and car garage in smaller buildings off to the side. 

Johnny walked over to the door and held it open for Victoria while she walked in, Johnny following shortly after her. 

There was a young boy working at the counter reading a magazine, looking up once he heard the bell chime as the door opened. He had a flashing white smile and greased back hair. He was quite handsome looking and couldn't be older than sixteen or seventeen. 

"Hey-a, Johnny!" He beamed. "Who's the pretty lady?" 

Johnny smiled, "This is Victoria." He said while gesturing to her. "Victoria, this is Sodapop Curtis, one of my buddies." 

"Nice to meet you, Sodapop," Victoria said while reaching over the counter and shaking his hand. 

"Right back at ya," Sodapop said with a wink.

Victoria's cheeks turned slightly pink and she looked over at Johnny, not wanting to be the next one to say something. 

"Oh- uhh, Victoria was actually looking for a job in the area. You guys said you were hiring, right?" Johnny asked.

"Yes, we are." Sodapop grinned. He reached under the counter in one of the cabinets and got a sheet of paper before handing it to Victoria. "Here's a job application. You can fill it out now if you'd like." He finished with a cheeky smile. 

"Yeah, sure." Victoria shrugged her shoulders. Sodapop handed her pen and she sat at one of the stools by the counter and began to fill in the paper. 

Sodapop and Johnny continued on with a short conversation when suddenly there was a loud crashing noise followed by someone groaning out, "oh fuck!"

Victoria looked up curiously, Johnny and Sodapop only continuing their conversation. "Should, uhh, should you be concerned with the loud, umm, the loud crashing noises?" Victoria asked.

"Oh, don't worry about that. It's probably Steve. He's a clutz." Sodapop said, brushing it off and continuing his previous conversation with the younger boy. 

A few seconds later, a door that led to behind the counter opened and out walked another young-looking man. He also had his hair greased back and his uniform shirt unbuttoned. He was slightly taller than Sodapop and his teeth were crooked. 

"So no one cared to come to see if I was okay?" The boy asked while rubbing his forehead.

Sodapop turned over to look at him, pausing for a brief moment while pretending to think before speaking, "No."

"Oh, well thank you." The boy said sarcastically. 

"Here, Sodapop, I finished filling out the paper," Victoria said while handing it over to him. 

"Thank you," Sodapop said with a dashing smile as he took the paper from Victoria.

"And who might you be?" The boy with the crooked teeth asked.

"I'm Victoria Lancaster," Victoria said, sticking out her hand for the boy to shake. 

"Steve Randle." He grinned as he firmly shook Victoria's hand. 

"It's a pleasure." Victoria returned the smile. 

"Sure is." Steve agreed. 

"I'll give this to my manager, he should give you a call soon. Unfortunately, he's not in today, is there a number he could reach you at?" Sodapop asked after he skimmed over the job application.
