Summary!
Six years after being evacuated to the country, nineteen-year-old Sybil Vaughn has never felt more at home. Her relationship with Alec is thriving, she's enjoying her carpentry projects, and the pull of life in the country has her firmly in its grasp.
After being asked to build sets for the village's performance of Romeo and Juliet due to be put on at the end of the war, Sybil realises just how close that day might be.
With no word from her dad and her relationship with Alec to think about, Sybil struggles to decide what to do when the war ends.
