Love is Electric- joe and dianne one shots

A beam of sun shone through the curtains of Joe's bedroom, and into his eyes, slowly causing him to stir from his well deserved sleep. The first time he had properly slept in 3 months. With the strictly final commencing the night before, coming second and the wrap party happening until early hours of the morning; he could finally get a proper nights sleep. And what made it even better was that dianne had found her place for the night next to him, cuddled into his side. Since falling asleep she had moved over to the other side of the bed, arms folded neatly over the duvet which she pulled up close to her face, covering her body.

Joe reached up taking his hand over to where dianne was still fast asleep and carefully ran it through diannes red hair. He twirled it around his finger a few times before gently pulling it behind her ear and stroking her cheek. He then moved down to her neck, and ran a finger along her tattoo a few times as she faced away from him. He took his hand to her shoulder but just as he placed his hand onto her bare skin she snuggled more into the duvet.

"Joe......"
She murmured, still very much asleep her voice muffling against the pillow.
She opened her eyes and turned over to face him a smile growing on her face as she was greeted by joe, his hair all messed up and his blue eyes gazing into hers from the second she turned over.

"Morning beautiful"
Joe smiled watching her adjust to the light.

"Good morning"
She said moving closer to his, unwrapping her perfectly crossed arms, taking one and moving it over to him, wrapping it around the top of his body and placing her hand on his back.

"How are you feeling?"
He asked her, containing to run his hand through her hair like he did a few minutes ago.

"Better than I thought. How about you little one?"
She traced patterns on his back with her finger tips.

"Good. I really needed to sleep like that, you really wore me out"
He said making dianne giggle

"In what way? The dancing or...."
She laughed to herself

"Stop it. Both. It was nice last night though. I'm glad it happened when it did. You were amazing"
He told her and she nodded in a agreement.

"How did you find it? I didn't hurt you, did I, with it being our first time together and everything?"
He asked her. They didn't expect anything like that to happen last night, it sort of just happened. They had spoke about a few times before and discovered dianne was quite ready on all the occasions they had spoken about it. She wanted to take things slow in every aspect of their relationship, having just come out of a different one. Going from one and and straight into another it was a difficult few months for her and she just wanted some time to herself which she struggled with because she was falling for joe so quickly and could resist the fact of being his girlfriend which she became in Blackpool week when he asked her just before they went on to perform their quickstep.

"No. It was perfect. You were so caring and waited until I was ready, so thank you, no guy has ever done that for me before so it really did make me feel...you know...appreciated"
She told him

"Its ok, there was was absolutely no way I would of done anything until you wanted to. I think you picked the perfect time"
He said

"Me too"
Dianne snuggled into Joe's chest, burying her head into the crook of his neck, allowing joe to kiss her by her hair line on the top of her forehead. Dianne stayed like that for a few minutes, just enjoying being in his arms and the kisses he would press to her head every so often which he would accompany with a stroke of her hair. After a while she brought her head back so she was facing him again and leaned in, so their lips touched softly. They both pulled back staring into eachothers eyes for a few seconds, smiles growing onto both of their faces before they softly kissed eachother again, this time the kiss last longer and was more passionate.

"How about my dancing?"
Joe whispred bringing the two of them back into conversation.

"The best. I'm so proud of you"
Dianne told him

"Really? It was that good"
Joe asked

"Perfect jospeh. Your dancing was so perfect"

"I was just so nervous to mess up you know, with it being the final"
He told his girlfriend

"You need to stop doubting your talents. You got to the final joey. You were perfect in every way. The paso, Charleston and show dance. And even though craig didnt give you a ten, it was perfect in my eyes, I would give you a ten Joseph"
Dianne said making him smile even more than he already was.

"Thank you"
He whispred in her ear, wrapping hid arms around her small body stroking up and down her sides before bringing one hand up to her face, pulling some stray strands of hair behind her ear and then rubbing her cheek with his thumb before resting it on her jawline.

"I love you"

Diannes eyes grew wide suddenly as joe broke the peaceful silence with those three little words, something she wasnt expecting him to say for a while. It made her light up. She got that funny feeling. Butterflies. It made her feel nervous but in a good way. He gave her that feeling inside of her. It ran through her whole body. It gave her shivers. Made her feel like the only girl in the world. It made her heart best fast and her eye lashes flutter,  it sent a shiver down her spine and up her arms.

"Mmmhh"
She murmured catching joes attention. It seemed he had gone off into his own little world.

"Yeah?"
Joe asked her snapping back into reality. His eyes hadn't drifted from hers once though.

"You love me?"
She asked in shock, not expecting it one bit. She had no doubt about it, she knew this wasnt some fling and they were falling for eachother and falling hard but she didnt expect it to be now.

"I do.....I love you so much. I'm so in love with you."
Joe said making that feeling of butterflies return to diannes stomach.

"Shut up...really"
She giggled nervously still not quite believing it. She had told she was loved many times before. With her long list of past relationships, all of which had been extremly unsuccessful she felt she was in love with each one until of course they broke up and she realised she was never in love. The word love was such a strong meaningful thing and she never really knew what it meant....until now. Out of all the times she had been told those three words she hadn't felt how she was feeling like she was in that moment.

"Yeah I really really do love you dianne. Im so in love with every part of you. Every single last inch of you baby. I'm crazily madly in love with you dianne Claire buswell"
Dianne let out a little innocent laugh, not believing it. She kissed him once and then placed her forehead againts his, their breathing synchronized instantly and then they separated their foreheads, their bodies remaining intertwined.

"Sorry if it was too soon, but I really do love you and I know you may not feel the same way just yet but...."
Dianne interrupted him before he could say anymore

"No.....I do feel the same"
Dianne stuttered

"So you do love me?"
Joe asked, shocked she was about to say it this soon after coming out of her other relationship.

"Yeah....."
She nodded

"I love you joe"
