Date Night!
Has it really been two months since we went out on a date? Mentally I calculate the time that's past since we last went out together and it really has been just over two months.
With the news of the baby, the studio and getting back from our honeymoon we really have been swept off our feet.
I'm so excited for this evening though, it's my turn to plan the activities and location of our date, Bryan's been trying to get me to slip up with hints all day. I'll give him props for effort and persistence but he's failed on being successful. My lips are sealed shut.
Thanks to the help of Quinn and Dom we've put together a romantic picnic on the beach just before sunset. It's the same location we said I Love You, the place we exchanged our Love Rings. The very place that holds so many memories about us. You could say it's the key to everything Skylar and Bryan.
Whilst they are busy getting the blankets, fire pit, and cushions loaded up, I'm busy putting together our hamper. Tottering around to make sure to include all of his favourites, chargrilled chicken salad with feta cheese, Mac and Cheese - don't worry it's in a thermos so it will remain hot. Freshly made bread with butter, chocolate-covered grapes and strawberries, Cheetos - both cheese and flaming hot! My secret receipt of hot chocolate, marshmallow on the side to add later. Gatorade Grape and Ice and a couple of bottles of water.
I also might have called his momma and asked her for her brownie and blonde cookie recipes. I know he misses her cooking and I want him to have a piece of home tonight.
I pack everything up into the wicker basket along with plates, cups and cutlery before walking towards the front of the house. Handing the basket over to Dom who is taking it to the beach to meet Quinn.
'𝑇ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑘𝑠 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑡𝑜𝑑𝑎𝑦' I say, handing over the basket to Dom.
He smiles as he accepts the basket. '𝐴𝑙𝑤𝑎𝑦𝑠 ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑦 𝑡𝑜 ℎ𝑒𝑙𝑝 𝑎 𝑓𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑑.' With a small nod, he turns and walks over to his car putting the basket on the passenger seat before walking around to climb into the driver. The engine starts and Dom waves goodbye before peeling down the driveway.
Ten minutes later I have the kitchen spick and spam. I shuffle down the hallway between the kitchen and the lounge just as the front door opens and Bryan walks in.
'𝐻𝑜𝑛𝑒𝑦, 𝐼'𝑚 ℎ𝑜𝑚𝑒' he calls out, not noticing me. A wide toothy smile on his handsome face. His brown curly hair tousled over his forehead, forcing my lips to tug upwards.
'𝐿𝑜𝑜𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑔𝑜𝑜𝑑, 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑒' At the sound of my voice so close to him his head whips around in my direction. His muscles bunch beneath his shirt and his lips part as he takes me in.
I'm not wearing anything special right now just some Jean shorts, a red tank top and some cowboy boots. But I guess I could be wearing a black bag and he'd still look at me like a supermodel, the most beautiful creature in the world.
Reaching out he opens his arms wide for me, inviting me into his warm embrace. He doesn't need to ask me twice, with hurried feet I close the distance between us and wrap myself around his chest. His arms folded around my lower back, giving him a stronghold on me to lift me up until my legs wrap around his waist. He turns us around so my back is pressed against the cold wood of our front door.
'𝑆𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑜𝑛𝑒'𝑠 𝑚𝑖𝑠𝑠𝑒𝑑 𝑚𝑒' I tease. Rolling my hips against his crotch, teasing his already hard member.
'𝐴𝑙𝑙 𝑜𝑓 𝑚𝑒 𝑚𝑖𝑠𝑠𝑒𝑑 𝑦𝑜𝑢, 𝑤𝑖𝑓𝑒' he grumbles, rubbing himself against my wet core. Invoking my own tactics against me.
