"Can you believe that you are pregnant and our children are going to grow up together? Like they are going to be lifelong friends just like us" I smile handing a steaming mug of chamomile tea to Quinn as we take our places on the sofa. My fluffy sock-covered feet tucked beneath my bum.

"It still feels like I'm dreaming" blowing on the cup of tea as he blushes. I'm still trying to process the news and I'm not the one carrying to baby. I mean I am but you know what I mean.

"And your dream is just beginning" I smile, reaching out for her hand. "I know you don't need me to say this but your going to be an incredible mum Quinn. Never forget that." I give her hand a loving squeeze. Her face flushes crimson before she looks away trying to hide the tears that I know are pooling in her eyes.

"So, have you guys had your first scan? Do you know how far along you are? I know you said 9 weeks last night but-"

"Not yet, booked in for Friday. Our pregnancy test from Clear Blue estimates we are 3+ weeks. Dom thinks I'm 9 weeks along but looking back on when my last period was I'm thinking 2 maybe 3 months."

My brows knott together as I process what she'd said. That would mean she was pregnant at Chris and Bella's engagement party and why she has been so sensitive.

"Before you ask I didn't know at the engagement party and it'sonly had one glass of wine that night. I know its not ideal but my doctor has reassured me not to worry about it. I promise I won't be touching alcohol again during the pregnancy." She nods repeatedly to add emphasis as I have blankly at her.

"I'd be lying if I say the thought hadn't crossed my mind but I don't doubt your responsiblity or your instant love for your baby." I lift my cup to my lips and sip the slightly sweet and savoury cup of tea. Loving how it instantly seems to settle my overly active playful chipmunks.

"What about you? Don't you have a scan today?" she questions. Pulling two bars of chocolate from her purse and offering me one. A loving smile consumes my face knowing that she purposely added two bars to her bag this morning before coming out today. Always selfless and considerate is my Quinnie! As much as I'd love to accept I shake my head no and thank her for the offer. My little terrors don't need any more sugar today to keep them active. They seem to have bundles of energy.

"Yeah. Our appointments at four. I can't wait to see them and hear their little heartbeats. Plus Bryan thinks we will be able to find out the gender of Whisper."

"Really?" she gasps. The excitement rolling off her.

"Yeah. We will be able to agree a name for Whisper based on his or her gender. Plus if it turns out your little bean is three months then they will only been one month behind our nugget!"

"Oh. My. God." We squeal, excitement radiating from our cores. With a crash Bryan runs into the room panting out of breath 'What happened?' He gasps, aggressively panting in between breaths.
