After meeting Jay, I was less nervous to meet the other members. I guess I didn't learn enough from the videos about them anyways. I can't believe Jay recognized me before I could realize who he was..... embarrassing. But to me, he looked so different than he used to when he was an I-LANDER.
Bigger, he definitely looked bigger than I thought he would be.
"So" Jay started, breaking the silence he pressed on the 5th floor of the elevator to the dance practice rooms
"I heard you just turned 14"
"yeah it was my birthday a few weeks ago"
"ah thats nice, happy belated birthday I guess lol"
"wasn't a few weeks ago just when I-LAND stopped airing??!" Jay suddenly thought to himself
"How was I-land-" he hesitated for a second knowing that it may have been a sensitive topic to bring up, then he suddenly remembered that you didn't debut and felt bad for speaking of it.
I thought about this for a while, one of my biggest worries was for enhypen to think less of me, if I can't be good enough for them, the big shot first generation I-landers who debuted as the idols of 2020 accomplishing their dreams meanwhile I ALMOST debuted but didn't.
I sighed and shook these thoughts out of my head.
I was offered this second chance to still showcase my talents, and I'm definitely proving my worth, I don't care how hard I'll have to work nor what enhypen could possibly care about me in the beginning. I will be good enough for them.
"Heh, It's cool you know...alright I guess. Looks almost the same as last time you went too." I lightly said
"ah that's cool that's cool" jay looked down nodding

went the sound of the elevators as the doors pushed open
"this is the artist' main dance rooms" jay pointed in the distance 4 big doors side by side along the wall in front
"THE ARTISTS MAIN DANCE ROOMS???1/1/" I shouted
"LIKE LIKE THE ONE IDOLS USE???" I mouthed a scream
"Yeah! I know right? LOLOL I had the same reaction as you when I first walked into this building" jay brushed his hand to the back of his head
"Feels great doesn't it?"
"Bro first thing I'm gonna do when I get in there, imma mop the floor like heeseung" I blurted out, trying to crack a small joke
"HAHA YEAH, heeseung the mop" jay chuckled
"wanna take a peek inside? seems like no one is using room 1 right now"
"DO I??? LETS GOOO" I ran towards the first dance room swaying my hands and body in the motion chaotically
As I gleefully skipped into the room, "Cheating on You by Charlie Puth" plays
