The day of the sports festival arrived. I was actually tired of all this bullshit. I don't care about winning but Shiggy told me if I won it would make All Might feel shitty knowing his daughter is better than his successor.

With those thoughts in mind I felt confident and got into my UA gym uniform. We all gathered together, some of us talking with the others. I remained quiet watching the competition.

Just then, "Midoriya." Sho addressed the green haired boy with a little hostility.

"What is it Todoroki?" Midoriya responded.

"On an objective basis, I think I'm above you on terms of practical strength." Sho told him.

I sighed. Seriously...

"Wha? Ah, uh... yeah..." Midoriya stuttered.

"You managed to get All Might's eyes on you, right?" Sho continued. I felt a somber expression cross me at the mention of All Might. "I feel no need to pry into that, but... I will beat you."

"Whoa?! What's this a declaration of war from the strongest kid of our class??" I heard Kaminari say something along those lines.

Everyone's attention turned towards the two. Kirishima tried stopping Sho's unfriendly words but Sho stated he wasn't here to make friends. I rolled my eyes. He's so going to hear a word or two from me for saying that shit.

What am I? Chopped liver? Hmph.

Midoriya ended up telling Sho that he was right about Sho being stronger than him. His speech sounded so pessimistic but, in the end, "So I'm going to go for it, with all my might, too!" Midoriya told Sho with such confidence.

I was left with a bitter sensation in my mouth from hearing him say so.

"Are you okay?" Uraraka asked me as she stood beside me.

"Huh? Oh yeah. I'm just thinking." I told her honestly, "About the strategies I'll use."

"Oh okay." She looked a bit worried.

"You're sweet." I told her as I passed by her, "But everything's peachy." Not letting Ashido or the other girls ask me I smiled at them and said, "If the boys are giving it their all, then we girls better step up our game."

They all nodded and agreed.

I rolled my eyes seeing how the start of the sports festival was unraveling. First the boys looked embarrassed or whatever with Midnight's attire, she looks lovely in my opinion. Second, Bakugou's speech about him saying that he's going to win and the other classes looking at us with dislike because of it.

Midnight then presented the first activity of the Sports Festival; the obstacle race.

Let's just say that was a pain. It first started out with Sho trying to freeze us all in place but to his misfortune many of us were able to escape and continue the race. Mineta well he basically got punched by a robot.

I swear this school comes up with some flashy crap... but I can't say I feel sorry for Mineta.

To our surprise and my disgust, Midoriya finished first. His strategy wasn't bad at all, if we weren't rivals I would dare even say that it was genius. He's a smart guy... I have to admit that.

However, I wasn't happy with how I ended up being in 4th place. I didn't want to use my quirk, not now, I was waiting for the perfect moment. Seems like Midoriya had that in mind too.

The next event began and it turned out to be a Cavalry battle. Midnight once again began explaining to us the rules of the new battle and let's just say it was beneficial towards me.
